What is Digital Community Programme?
The Programme is a blend of half day training sessions and one2one mentoring for groups involved. Areas include:
- How to build a digital marketing plan
- Facebook & Twitter for organisations
- Using email and on line surveys
- SMS and donations
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Developing Apps for your organisation
Digital community will also include a website and facebook page where groups can share knowledge and learnings - www. digitalcommunityni.org & Digital community NI (facebook)
Who is the programme for?
-Community, voluntary, social enterprise groups based in NI
-Desire to develop a ‘digital marketing strategy’ as part of your organisation’s overall marketing plan
-Commitment to attending 8-10 half day sessions in Belfast during September /October 2011
-Commitment to working with dedicated mentors for up to 3 months to help implement your new digital marketing plan
What are the outputs for each organisation?
-Increased knowledge of how to apply new technology & social media tools to marketing plans for C& V organisations
-Facebook page for each organisation completing training
-Tailored mentoring relevant to the sector to increase market reach, client engagement, online presence and sustainability
