I love ditty it is a lovely place you get beautiful pancake and sausage rolls and buns and the tea and coffee is beautiful the staff is first class

Called into Ditty's yesterday with my mum and kids. Lovely selection of padteries/buns. Great coffee and very friendly staff. Girls also were watching the chocolate machines and the girls making gingerbread men! Recommend 5�

Called in to Dittys for a snack. The service and food were first class. Tom says the apple pancakes are divine. We will definitely be back.

Went into Ditty’s magherafelt this week. I was greeted by a miserable member of staff with brown hair, which was hinging all around her face. We were asked for our food order and when my wife asked for salad with her toastie it seemed to be such an inconvenience to this staff member! When at the till I ordered a tea and coffee but my cup was dirty so my wife showed it to this member of staff who aggressively snatched if off my wife nearly taking her finger with it! I was give a clean cup and the member of staff asked anything else, my wife said you were a bit aggressive there but this member of staff chose to ignore my wife’s comment and proceeded to ask for our money. When given our change she walked off leaving my wife wondering where her coffee was. Another member of staff asked was everything ok and I said do we get the coffee brought to the table or do we wait here for it, I also said that the other member of staff was very rude and out of order, this member of staff didn’t care and didn’t want to know.

The cake purchased for my sons birthday was an absolute disgrace. It was supposed to be a Celtic themed cake but more resembled a Rangers one. Regardless of themes the overall presentation was awful, very unprofessional and nothing like the many cakes I've bought from Dittys regularly over the years. Needless to say I will never buy anything from this bakery again.

Terrible decoration and lack of effort on a child's birthday cake, should be ashamed of yourselves.

Poor poor poor just seen it attempt at a Celtic cake it's a shambles it's blue writing blue candles are use for real I wish I could put the cake up as it the worst and cheapest thing I've seen you could get better out of Tesco

When you walk through the door you're greeted with a 5* hygiene rating, come inside and there's food all over the floor and under every table with plenty of staff walking around looking a bit confused and not doing a great deal.



Miserable and blunt staff, one lady of which (short blonde hair) was picking her teeth with her fingers behind the till, handling money and then handling food without washing her hands or wearing gloves. Unfortunately spotted this horror after I'd finished my sandwich (which in fairness was the only saving grace during this dining experience).



Milk in jug was dirty with black bits floating in it, had it replaced and same again so the jugs clearly aren't clean. Partner's tea was brought over with the dirty milk jug sitting inside the teacup - gross, get a tray!



Cutlery was dirty, tray holding cutlery even worse, had to wipe it clean ourselves with a napkin. Shame as the food and bakery is nice, but won't be back, ever.

It's not often I'd ever write a review of somewhere on Facebook but I went to Dittys in Magherafelt today and I feel the need to share!



SO, we walked in to the cafe be greeted by an absolute bomb site of a shop floor and tables. Food was lying everywhere and it wasn't even particularly busy with loads of staff on. We ordered our food and sat down after having to play a fun game of "guess how much we were spending" as barely anything on the menu has prices beside it!



The waitress brought over my tea with a milk jug inside my mug which was just a bit mingin to be honest because the jug had been sitting on a shelf. There were yellow pieces of dirt floating in my milk so I left it back, and there was again, yellow pieces of dirt floating in milk jug number two. It then took 3 attempts to get cutlery that hadn't got someone else's dried lunch still stuck to it! I could have just picked it all off and made myself a sandwich out of it.



The real clinker though, and the real reason I wanted to leave a public review was because of our absolute belter of a waitress. We were just about finishing off our food when we looked over at the woman who had brought us our lunch and she had her finger jammed right in the back of her mouth picking out a bit of food, put her hands in the till to sort out some money, then straight after went and handled someone's sandwich with no gloves or washing hands or anything!



This place gives me the absolute boke. I'm not a fussy person but your cafe is pure boggin.

I have just seen an attempt at a Celtic themed cake. What kind of establishment would dare to put blue icing on it along with blue candles.....and a blue ribbon!!!! The Celtic transfer isn't even straight and appears to be an afterthought stuck in the corner. Seriously, I think this is a downright disgrace and your cake decoration staff are an embarrassment to your shop to even think putting blue on a green cake is acceptable. My family always talk about ditty's cakes and scones but I think after this you will have lost some business.
