Doc'S Rocks Description
I've only been painting on rocks from 2016. Before that, I liked to make things from recycled stuff, then it developed into decoupaging, then painting concrete ornaments for the garden, then wee gnomes. Someone asked me to paint on a Robin on a rock for them and I'd no idea I could do it! When it was finished, I surprised myself! And it's just developed from there. I never was any good at staying with the one thing, so I'm constantly experimenting to find new things to paint or enhance.
My crafts are my way with coping with the anxiety and stress within my personal life. I'm not doing it to make money. I just love doing them but obviously I have overheads to pay for so I cant do all of them for free. When I see the gratitude on people's faces when they see their rock or slate for the first time, it's payment enough.
I design and paint uniquely bespoke rocks and slates for indoors and outdoors. Prices are to suit every budget so I'll work with you to reach what's best for you.

Rock hunters.... 😂 I've been a bit busy this week painting larger rocks for some people. I havent forgotten about you all. This next batch will be Characters beginning with D. Hopefully I'll get them done for the weekend. So have your notifications on so you'll see when I'm about to hide them :D
3 cheerful characters for 3 lovely kids! Woody, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have just headed off to join the Collins family. Mum, Sarahjane cant wait til Nathan, Sophia and Holly come home from school to get them! :D
Kiera asked me to paint Everton on a rock for her hubby who's an Everton fanatic, so much so he calls his wee family Team Caffery! Kiera tells me he was completely overwhelmed by his Father's Day gift <3

Karen is heading to England shortly and asked me to do 3 rocks for 3 graves small enough to fit into her luggage. So I've painted these 3 rocks that were found on Killough beach were Karen lives. A little bit of Ireland heading to England. :D
When you lose a loved one or pet, it's very difficult to come to terms with the empty void they leave behind. Although the rocks dont fill that void, they give great comfort to people in a couple of ways. Firstly the rock is so very personal, and secondly rocks give out a soothing energy. They've been around for millions of years after all! Tell me what was your loved ones favourite thing or colour was and I'll come up with a design that will honour them forever.

Started and finished this large slate today for Andrea for her dad's birthday. He has it up and all in his garden and is delighted with it. :D These are Andrea's kids. Note the little twin boy at the end with the watering can...... poor wee baby is getting soused! 😂
We can just about see the top of Baloo's head here! Thanks to Tracey for finding him and posting a pic and now he's off to pastures new. :D
Happy Feet was hid a few weeks ago. He has finally showed up with thanks to Louise! Watch out for this little guy as he's on the move again! ☺

Cutie Holly Crothers found the Cheshire Cat at Drumaness Play Park! The 2 of them now have huge smiles :D Well done Holly and thank you mum Sarah Crothers for posting. Hoping to see Cheshire on the move again in the near future :D But if she cant part with him, it's ok ;)
The rocks are fairly getting about and hidden today! All playparks so far. Cheshire Cat "We're All Mad Here". He's waiting in wee house ☺
