Dollybirds Art Description
Dollybirds Art is an independent studio in Belfast. Founded in 2013, it was established by artist Eimear Maguire, whose love of art started at a very early age and developed in to a full time career. Created through a love of indigenous birds, nature and wildlife, her works include birds, like the Puffin found along the cliffs of the Antrim Coast to the Swallows that return to Belfast every summer. Images have been carefully hand-painted with our distinctive style and are used to produce the highest quality archival prints which are guaranteed to last a lifetime. Our prints are all produced in Belfast within a ten mile journey of the Dollybirds studio and notebooks are printed on beautiful recycled paper. A focus on using high quality materials, attention to detail and a love of what we do makes our products truly unique.

Suitable for both adults and children and any ability. I have drawn these leaves for anyone who might benefit from focusing their mind on this little nature based activity for a while. Print out and colour with paint or pencils or use as a digital template for iPad/tablet colouring. I have included an image to give you some guidance but feel free to go your own way. This evenings golden hour on the mountain. 🧡 This magic light occurs when the Sun is between 6 degrees below and 6 degrees above the horizon. The suns rays encounter atmospheric particles such as dust and water droplets, which filter the sunlight, softening it and making the sky golden.
Finally added these Ash leaves onto the website along with a new A3 version of the Irish Oak leaves archival print. I love this magical photo captured by @ehillphoto, taken on my favourite mountain. 🌿

Native trees 🌳 I painted these Ash leaves in Spring when the trees were in full bloom 🌿 They will soon be full of leaves again as spring approaches. This is one of our most common trees but is a dying species as Ash dieback is slowly taking it from the Irish landscape. Our morning walk on the mountain captured so well by @ehillphoto this morning. It’s been an intensely busy week so far preparing for @dccoishowcaseireland this weekend but I still make time to go on the mountain each morning as it’s where I find the inspiration for my work. It’s so important to squeeze a little nature time in each day. ❤️🌳
