Down County Museum

Very disappointed that we drove into Downpatrick specifically to visit the museum but were unable to park within reasonable walking distance. Due to health reasons parking in the town and walking up the hill was not an option. I've visited before many years ago and know the museum is excellent but the lack of parking options is doing no favours.

Very interesting museum quite small but packet with interesting fact about Northern Ireland and Down history.

Well worth a visit. Staff are very helpful. Packs in a lot of interesting facts. Good restaurant. And it's free to get in!

Worth a visit! Don't be put off; it's a fun, interactive museum with a lot of history. Much better than I remembered as a child. Highly recommended.
