Trying to call them but takes ages to get through - very frustrating and not professional!

If I could give this company no stars I would! Appalling customer service! Tried to deliver a parcel to my house but no-one was in. I phoned and they asked me if I could collect it. It wasn't suitable for me so my son went for it a couple of days later. He had the invoice but no ID so they refused to give him the parcel. When I phoned I was not told to bring ID. It does not tell you on the invoice to bring ID. When I phoned to complain the person I spoke to did not believe me that there was nothing on my invoice to say that ID was required. He said that DPD had tried to deliver the parcel before but I had no evidence. I asked them could they now deliver the parcel but they refused. What sort of a courier delivery service refused to deliver. The point of contact was extremely rude!!

After being given today as a date for a collection have been in all day and no one turned up same happened last year as well

Your delivery driver just made a comment saying he rang the door bell twice and it shouldn't take all day to answer the door? All because he had to write out a piece of card. Does he say this to everyone, pretty pathetic.

So I use this DPD location solely in Newtownabbey and its ParcelWizard facility to route all my Amazon and UK purchases to my location in ROI. Its fast and reliable and no BS.

I get text messages that tell me of delivery times within the hour. They also have an app for smart phones allowing you to re-route deliveries ahead of time.

The main DPD support on twitter is again fast and reliable and accurate.

The only problems I do have with all of are other delivery companies forwarding my parcels to DPD and confuse it with the Royal Mail facility down the road.

Will continue to send parcels to this facility in NI and DPD will continue to be my preferred Logistics company.
