Useless isn't the word. Hate to see my parcel is getting sent via DPD. I was unable to sign for my parcel and got a text asking if I wanted to pick it up in a drop off location, so I picked a drop off location. Took them another 2 days to get my parcel to the drop off location. Rang to enquire where my parcel was and no apology or nothing for the delay. As I said, useless.

Awful service. They completely ignored the delivery address for my mobile phone delivery.
There is nothing in their website that allows you to correct the delivery details.
They cannot be contacted by telephone which is ridiculous.

The shitest delivery service possible. They tried to deliver a package when I wasn't there, but didn't leave a card, so I can't collect it. I've tried calling a customer service number, but it's automated so I haven't been able to speak to an actual person. The emails from their customer service account may as well be automated because there's no useful information in them.

Telephoned about my DPD parcel delivery , i got the very Friendly and professional Jill, whp was very helpful, took ownership of the sitaution and after listening to my concerns from previous deliveries, rang me back and explained that the parcel had been sent to my work instead of my home address, very embarassing for me as i wasnt aware and was frustrated at waitng for the delivery at my home address, Excellent customer care and professionalism from Jill, Would gladly recommend the service after this experience!

I posted a review earlier which seems to have been taken down although it was a factual account of the treatment I received from DPD. Perhaps google didn't believe a company could behave in such an appalling way. I wish to give zero stars but it is not an option.
I have had 3/3 negative experiences with DPD. Their staff are surly and incompetent.
On the first occasion I phoned and asked if an undelivered item could be left at the side of my house as it wasn't valuable- I never received it.
The second where I received a text about a delivery- rushed home and found a card on a mat. They then attempted a second delivery after I had clicked the link to say I would (reluctantly) pick the bulky item up. The address given then was just a number on Castlereagh Road - no mention of the industrial estate and my sat nav took me to Comber- miles away. When I eventually found the depot hidden at the back of an industrial estate with no sign to direct you to it, I was met by an extremely rude member of staff who dumped the heavy bathroom cabinet outside the door and left me to carry it to the car myself.
This 3rd occasion I received a card about 2 weeks ago saying they had tried to deliver an item. I was not expecting any delivery so didn't initially act assuming they might attempt redelivery. They didn't so I clicked a link on the text I was sent saying I would pick the item up. When I drove the 8 miles to the depot after a quick glance at my phone the staff member disappeared. More then 5 minutes later he didn't return so I told a female member of staff. She gave me a filthy look (not sure why? For daring to speak up?) and said in a very rude voice- it can take more than five minutes to find a parcel- it's a big warehouse. Clearly I can't demonstrate how rudely she spoke to me but I felt offended. I was due to pick my children up at 3 o'clock so was feeling quite stressed about how slow the process was. Eventually the original staff member returned and only then asked for the reference number. In my agitation the reference from the previous delivery came up on my phone so it took some time to clarify the correct number, but when I did I was told the item had been returned to sender after 5!!!! days. ( Even Royal Mail keep items for 3 weeks). The card I was left makes no mention of 5 days and when I clicked the link to say I would collect the item I was not informed that the item had been returned. I waited almost 48 hrs to go to the depot as it said collect from next working day yet no one contacted me to say the item was no longer there. So far so annoying. I started to complain at the poor service from DPD and stated I had never had any problems like this with other couriers. I asked who the delivery was from and was told a company I have never heard of and would have no reason to receive a delivery from - I suspect the delivery was not actually for me and that an error has been made. The member of staff made no apology or attempt to get a manager to speak to me and ended up shouting at me - 'just get out' several times. I was shaking and still am hours later at being spoken to in this manner. This company has no idea about customer service. I was considering approaching their complaints department but since I have read the reviews stating similar bad treatment of customers I feel this would probably be pointless. If Google removed my last review at DPD's request I would ask them to keep this review up as it is the truth and customers deserve to know what they are dealing with. My conversation was witnessed by another customer. DPD are completely unprofessional and I will never deal with them again.

My mummy is just off the phone to a very pleasant member of staff called David. He was very helpful and is getting the parcel that we missed delivered tomorrow. Great service. Definately recommend.

This has to be the worst delivery company ever. Their staff are rude when you call them and all you get is excuses for their failure to deliver as their e-mails claimed they would. They even try to make it seem like it's the CUSTOMER'S fault for not being at home (due to WORK and other such irritating daily necessities). They had my email address and my mobile number, yet NO-ONE contacted me WHATSOEVER, to try to arrange another delivery. These people are PAID to deliver the item TO THE HOME OF THE PURCHASER. Don't let them turn it on you to go collect it. They're contractually obliged to deliver. I will be contacting the company I buy from to request that they do NOT use DPD any more. This nonsense happens every time I've had to have dealings with this company. Even Yodel isn't this bad! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, PEOPLE!
