Phone answered promptly, automated menu relayed quickly and clearly and I was connected to a customer service rep without a wait. Very helpful CSR, very polite and courteous even though I'm a Grumpy Old Man!!! 5 out of 5. I don't know who previous reviewers were connected to but the DVA (NI) I was connected to were Super-Duper! Thanks Guys!!!
Placed on hold for over 30 minutes, was caller number 2 in que. Ended up hanging up, absolute joke of a service. Don't waste your time ringing this!!!
Absolutly awful service. This place is a disgrace. 15 minutes to answer the phone then transfared to someone else for another 20 mins.
Terrible customer service. Waited 7 weeks on my licence after it saying it only takes 3 weeks, rang and was given no reason for it taking so long to be told I would have it within 2 weeks, 2 weeks later and still no licence! I have had to ring a second time to again be given no reason and been told I'll have it in 10 days😡😡 I also emailed them and didn't get a response for 3 weeks and replied and am still awaiting a response.
I phoned dva at Coleraine twice this week. Got through straight away both times. The staff I spoke to were very helpful, polite and resolved my query😀. I'm well happy!
Things seem to be improving at least in terms of phone being answered. very prompt response on this occasion. Unfortunately still a major delay getting license back because of medical check.
My experience is the same as most . An application for a licence renewal made 5 weeks ago appears not to have been processed (cheque has yet to be cashed). So much for the "less than 16 working days" claim.
The website states that ".... applicants may have difficulty making contact with the DVA" needs updated to read ".... applicants have a better chance of winning the lottery than contacting the DVA"
Government at its worst.
To say that that I'm being treated atrociously by the DVA would be an understatement. Judging by other reviews I'm certainly not the only one. What kind of way is this to conduct a government body which handles one of the most important areas? Application has been with them nearly a month and no word. Not answering their phone, not answering my emails = they don't give a hoot about us. I never received a renewal reminder from them either, so got application away a week late and stuck in limbo not knowing wether I can drive legally. Move to Swansea and stop clowning around. Joke!
Like re-visiting the 80's. No reply on the phone, payment in groats only. A shambles. The sooner this goes to Swansea the better. Absolute joke.
