The U14's finished their season with a game against Loughgall in Tandragee on Saturday morning. In an even game the boys led twice before conceding a couple of late goals before losing 2-4. Two goals for Tyler. Thanks to all the parents and players for their commitment over a season, which saw the boys qualify for the Premiership League rather than the Championship. This pitted them against all the stronger teams in the Mid Ulster League, which led to difficult matches every week. See you at the Prizegiving Day on the 1st of June at Dromore Rugby Club

The u,12’s finished off their season with a good performance and a 4-2 win against Lurgan Town Predators. Goal scorers were Sam with a well taken hat-trick and debutant Jack. Well done to all the boys.

Just to let parents going to training at Ferris Park tonight, you might want to allow a bit more travel time, as there is a band parade in Dromore tonight.

The club will be giving out Easter eggs at tonight's training, as this couldn't be done last week, because there was no training last Friday night.

DAYFC training is on tonight at Ferris Park at the usual time.

There is no club training tonight, because of Easter.

It is with deepest regret the club announce the loss of another former player Shahram Abolfazlian. Shahram sadly passed away on Wednesday in London where he had relocated too in January. Shahram played for the 1995 squad from 12 years of age right through to under 19 where he then progressed to a coach taking the 2007 squad along with his close friends and fellow players Jason Finnegan and Charlie Donaghy. After 3 years coaching the team, work commitments prohibited Shahram c...ontinuing with this venture although he would have often inquired about the team and asked how they were performing. During Shahrams DAYFC career he picked up many awards and was a very popular figure, he will be sorely missed by his former team mates and everyone involved within the club. The Chairman, committee, coaches and player's would like to extend their deepest sympathy to the entire family circle at this devastating time. YNWA

A frustrating morning for the under 14's resulted in a 1-3 defeat against Lurgan Town. After a fantastic performance in the last game in beating Ardstraw, the boys missed a few chances before their only goal was scored by Tyler. Thanks to Shea for answering the call to ensure we could even field a full team today, as many of our regular squad was either injured or unavailable. Shea became our 20th different player this season and he performed very well for his first game for the club.
