A big thank you to all that attented the Dromore Credit Union Quiz on Friday evening, it was wonderful to see such big turnout on a cold January evening. Thanks must be given to all the parents that turned up to show their support and to all the teachers that help prepare the children for the quiz in amongst their hectic school schedules. As usual the standard was high and the competition tense and nail biting at times as it came to a tie-breaker for 2nd place in Competitio...n A. Congratulations and well done to all those who have participated in the Dromore Credit Union Art Competition 2016. The theme this year was "Dreams are made of this.........." The standard was as always exceptional and the passion and hard work was evident. A big thank you to all the teachers and classroom assistants that helped the children prepare their artwork.....we know this is a busy time of the year. Here is a selection of some of the winning entries across the age categories:

Keep the date free - Monday 27th June 2016. The official opening of our new premises and 50th anniversary celebrations. We would like to welcome everyone from 6pm with the official opening at 8pm with refreshments and entertainment. If anyone has any photographs or items of interest relating to the credit union we would be delighted if we could use them as part of our 50th anniversary - it would be very much appreciated. More details to follow!!

This initiative which runs from 9th - 15th May, aims to help young people to develop a smart relationship with money and highlights the importance of developing a saving habit and the important role that parents can play in assisting their children to develop smart money habits. The theme of GR8 Savers week this year is to encourage children to become saving superheros. Children will be shown how the superpower... of savings can help them to get the things that they want, both now and in the future and it's never too young to start the savings habit!! We're pleased to announce extended opening hours. We will now open on a Wednesday evening from 6.30pm-8.30pm for normal business transactions and loan applications. Our new opening hours will commence from Wednesday 4th May 2016. A debit card machine is now operational in the new offices for the benefit of all our customers.
