The rain has eased off & the street is filling up fast.

Ok so the weather is crap but since it’s to clear up any minute the Killyleagh Car & Motorbike Show is definitely STILL ON! The cones are out and the cars will be arriving shortly so bring a coat, an umbrella & do a little sun dance with us. Sure, we petrol heads are not made of sugar!

2 GREAT reasons to visit Killyleagh this weekend. Saturday the Magnus Barelegs Viking Festival is back at Delamont Country Park from noon. Sunday buckle up for the Killyleagh Competition Car & Motorbike Show on High St from 1pm. With music at the Duff & food served all day. See the posters below for more info.

The ever fabulous Off The Ground Theatre Company are back in Killyleagh tonight. Bring a blanket, bring a picnic, bring a bottle and bring a brolly(just in case) but just be there. This is a great night of fun and entertainment at the Castle. 6pm-8.30pm. Tickets at the gate. Enjoy.

Congratulations to all the hard working kitchen staff, floor staff & bar staff at Dufferin Arms, Picnic Deli & The Smugglers for getting Killyleagh a mention as a top foodie destination by Belfast Live. And of course a big thank you to the punters who come through the doors everyday and keep us all laughing. Great food, beautiful surroundings, fab people........Killyleagh. Come and see.

Sorry folks, not a normal day for us at the Dufferin as we will be saying farewell to our good friend Baker. Due to these sad circumstances there will be no food served until 5pm to accommodate the funeral & give our staff a chance to share stories & celebrate the life of a true character & auld mate. Our thoughts are with Bakers family.

We are all saddened & shocked to learn the news that we have lost another gem. Baker, the man who broke the rules & yet the glue that stuck the bar together. You’ll be missed by many. Our sympathies to the family. Our tea times won’t be the same. RIP. X

can't say enough nice things about this place !! the food was really good the waitress that served us was very attentive not just to us but everyone that came through the door don't know her name but she is a gem will be back !!

We had a delicious meal served by very friendly and attentive staff, even better the manager threw a few pounds of the bill, which these days came as a complete surprise, we will definitely be back there, when next in the area!

This is my local and a is unique Irish Pub that sells a good variety of drinks including great Guinness and also good pub food. It has a raucous,vocal,happy but very welcoming public bar where all young and old are made at home. Some of the banter can seem a bit pointed (a bit harsh but fair lol) but just come in, join in ,wear your thick skin, and enjoy the fun.

The dufferin home of the famous banjo burger fresh home made steak burger with all the trimmings and much more comes with pint of beer or drink of your choice all for £6 were would you get it then a walk down the street to the scenic harbour walk to walk off the calories then back to the duff for the traditional music that starts every Saturday about 15:30 also the friendly banter in the bar were there is always service with a smile

Perfect wee midweek stop! Spicy Bean burger with guacamole...mmmm, my friends scampi was delicious too!! Great value for money! Peach, raspberry and white chocolate tart just finished off a great evening! Love the atmosphere, love the staff, love the food, love the Duff!!

My Friday was a Tuesday this week! Treated myself to your pie of the day with vegetables, pommes frites and a glass of vino! Was very yummy indeed. Thank you. No dishes to clean up after! Tasty, good value mid week treat!

Located in Killyleagh approximately 35 minutes south of Belfast My wife and I were advised to go to the pub for food and what can I say it was fantastic but even more so with the Welcome that we had in the bath on a Sunday morning with a half a dozen people it was absolutely fantastic cannot wait to return there and spend an evening listening to the music on a Saturday

I have had quite a few meals in here, always great but last Sunday we called in for Sunday lunch and have to say it was the best meal I had in a long time! I had the catch of the weekend which was just delicious! staff brilliant as usual!

Had a very special 18th birthday for my daughter a great chance for a get together for our family been a very hard year , the staff ,food everything was amazing thank you too all staff many thanks Austin.

Had a lovely meal on Friday evening. 2 steaks, side and sauces and bottle of wine for £35. It was quality steak cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, will definatley be returning. Sunday is another favourite of ours with kids eating free!

Great traditional pub that’s got the lot. Great friendly staff and customers. Great food and drink. Super music. Don’t miss it.

Beautiful food yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Our waitress was Jenny and she was just amazing, not just to us but to everyone who was there, fabulous person for the job. 👌

Attended a lovely confirmation meal for Tamzin Gribben this evening and was very pleased with the excellent staff, food and service. There was a large party of us with many differing requests that the staff accommodated as quickly and as efficiently as possible. And the Yorkshire pudding was immense! Look forward to our next meal at this friendly intimate restaurant 😍 Thank you 😍

Attended a Christmas Dinner Party with friends here last Thursday night. The food was excellent and there was a great ambience where we were seated downstairs. The service was first class and the staff were friendly but not intrusive. Would definately return and would not hesitate recommending to friends.

Although I live in comber, I call the Dufferin my local. The people are all so friendly and welcoming, and it has the best music session going every Saturday from 4 onwards.

Would recommend this pub,restaurant in a heartbeat.

Again what a fantastic time in the Dufferin food, drink, music and the craic plus you'll have a few Scottish twenties in the takens.

When you book a table for your parents 44th wedding anniversary in the restaurant you expect to get a table in the restaurant, not have to sit in the pub listening to the rowdy patrons at the bar because they forgot to tell you they had a private party on downstairs. Night would have been ruined except for the fact that my parents are amazing people. I will not be coming here again.
