Fighting an eating disorder evokes many feelings, some very overwhelming and difficult feelings. Remind yourself of what they are, feelings. Accept them for what they are, they will pass. You have got this 💕

Weight stigma is not ok. Bullying is not ok. Weight based and appearance based bullying is not ok. These needs to be challenged.

Rise in eating disorders amongst men is being linked to current gym and fitness culture and the pressure to look a certain way. More education is needed to raise awareness and understanding as well as targeting risk and protective factors associated with eating disorders in this environment. Thanks Bodywhys for sharing your findings

Inspiring interview from Cork's Julia White Camogie "'So I think it is more about accepting the way you are first and foremost and accepting that people are different and that's what makes us all unique and accepting the thing you didn't think you liked and thinking that's actually what makes me different, self-esteem and working on self-acceptance, peers accepting each other as well." #bodypositive #youareenough

Today marks World Mental Health Day 2018 . Let's spread the word and let everyone know that it is always ok to talk about how we are feeling. It is ok and acceptable to talk about our physical pain - it is also OK and ACCEPTABLE to talk about our PSYCHOLOGICAL PAIN. In fact it is a necessity! #WMHD2018
