We serve the finest Coffee Creme & Tea Pigs from early morning alongside our fabulous breakfasts. . . . the aroma of our freshly baked scones and traybakes are hard to resist!
Eighty One moves seamlessly into lunchtime where you can get a variety of lunches, delicious salads, succulent homemade beef burgers, old favourites like soups, sandwiches, bagels and toasties but don't forget to look at our daily special board which has our melt in the mouth flan . . . . . . . Eighty One serves it all!
During the afternooon you will find a mix of coffee drinkers enjoying complimentary newspapers alongside ladies sipping cocktails and men enjoying a well deserved pint.
As the night draws in, the candles get lit and the music tempo changes, Eighty One comes alive with evening diners enjoying the fabulous sharing plates, steaks, pasta and fresh fish dishes, all prepared to the highest standard by our head chef Peter and his team. Late evening into the early morning the wine & cocktails are flowing in the bustling atmosphere.
Our upstairs lounge is available for private parties & business meetings.
Eighty One is locally owned by a husband and wife team.

We visited on Christmas Eve a busy day but staff took time to chat answer any queries and wish us a merry Christmas but more importantly food was delicious. We will see you all again very soon.
We ordered breakfast for 24 staff for an off site event today and everything was perfect. We arranged for delivery to the site and everything arrived on time and got us off to a great start for the day's workload! Thank you
We hosted our engagement party here this weekend and it could not have been better. Where do I begin... thank you to all the staff as they were truely fabulous and so accommodating in making sure we had the best night possible. The canapés and the drinks were 10/10 and the venue was just perfect. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back for the next event! Thanks again to all the team at 81! Xxx
We booked the restaurant for our daughters 21st Birthday Party on Saturday night. Claire and her team were fantastic, very professional, hard working looking after everyones needs and put up our decorations for me as well Venue suited well having about 60 people there. Food was great and the drinks were reasonably priced, never mind free venue hire would thoroughly recommend.
We booked 81 for a private party and we were all very impressed with the venue staff and service. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we were looked after and happy to accommodate any requests. Highly recommended. Thank you �

My family celebrated my dad's 70th birthday in the upstairs function room. The food and service were faultless. I'd strongly recommend Eighty One to anyone planning a big get-together! I'd also commend all the staff for their sensitivity and kindness in accommodating my very autistic son. Thanks to all of you for making the evening just that bit more special.

I'm an a$$hole when it comes to ratings, service, quality, establishments and complaining ... Can't fault anything whatsoever.. me and my wife had a lovely experience and fully intend to visit again. Was sweet to the beat, so 5 stars from us
Hosted a private party there and it could not have been better. The staff of Helen, Jonny, and Tommy were fantastic. The food was delicious. And the atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place for parties or even just a quick meal. They took great care of us and I will definitely be back.
Had my hubby's surprise birthday here last night. Absolutely perfect for the occasion!
The staff were fantastic and very efficient at sorting out drinks and teas and coffees. The food was delicious - they have a great finger food selection and I struggled to pick what to have! Priced extremely reasonably too. I would thoroughly recommend

Great place best in Holywood, was out cycling this morning stopped with 2 others for coffee etc and staff very polite helpful and chatty
French toast and bacon ohhh yes 5 stars for that alone.
First time eating here today and was very impressed. Food was cooked to perfection, coffee was gorgeous and staff were lovely. Such lovely positive vibes from the owner. She made us feel very welcome and her cheerie personality just made you feel good. Will definitely be back.
One thing that is hard to get in Northern Ireland is a really tasty salad that doesn’t feel like a punishment. I love this place for their lovely generous well prepared salads, and to get Picpoul fe Pinet by the glass is a rare treat! Will def be back often.
We were there on Sunday mothers day for lunch. It wasn't to busy probably half full. Staff weren't to friendly in fact girl that served us was very abrupt. Our order was taken within 5 mins of sitting down however we waited 40 mins on food being served. Again waitress wasn't very pleasant or helpful. Don't think I'd rush back. �
Food wasn't great if I'm honest we were bit disappointed. The lady serving in the tartan dress today wasn't very nice to us on the way out, so sorry but this time it is somewhere I wouldn't be rushing back to and reluctant to recommend!!
Had breakfast this morning & very disappointed with the French Toast. The bread was soggy & the eggs were in clumps like fried egg. Mentioned to waitress how disappointed the food was but my cpmlaint was not acknowledged & the managress was less than helpful & not willing to rectify the issue but still charged me FULL price for less than average food. How will you rectify this issue regarding poor standard food. Thank you.
