Never power wash a slate roof
Here at elephant clean Ni we do it properly using our professional 3 stage process.
Step 1.... Roof pre treated 2-3 weeks before moss is removed. We cover the roof with moss clear pro, an impregnating bio treatment which kills all organic growth. This makes for easy removal of stubborn moss.
Step 2. When we return to the property we use specialist sky scraper tools to remove the moss, we do this from gutter level with no need to walk on your roof and no need for high pressure washer. We have a different tool to suit every tile profile meaning we can tackle any roof any where.
Step 3. Once the roof is cleaned and gutters ect have been emptied we then gently rinse the roof with a garden hose to remove any loose debris. A final bio wash is then applied.
The photos below are how the roof looks on the day it's finished however the biowash continues to work long after the work is complete. Over a period of 8-12 weeks the home owner will only see improved results.

Lough moss Park carryduff.
Today we deep cleaned this large driveway in Carryduff.
The area was divided up with Tarmac and Concrete which was easier to see once the dirt was removed, visible in our 'after' photos. We also disposed of a large amount of leaves which were recently disgarded by the large bushes adjacent to the property.

Today some of the team made the short journey from Belfast to Conlig just outside Newtownards to complete another contract.
This roof had years of built up matted moss which was proving to be an irresistible attraction to the local Birds, constantly picking at it and covering the well kept lawns and patios below.
We professionally cleaned and then treated the entire roof.

Today saw the team hard at work just off orangefield in Eastbelfast. . We cleaned the roof on this house along with the roofs on their garage and the extension at the rear of the property. We took some close up photos of the roof tiles after they were cleaned so that you can see the real results for yourself. (these are posted below)

Today we cleaned this large Tarmac driveway and surrounding pathways around this beautiful home in Carryduff.
