This part of our company provides a service that gives families and main carers respite. We can take of shopping, transport to appointments and provide respite sits.

Essential Homecare Services is a well-established family run Domiciliary care business which has been up and running for 20 years. During our time operating the Domiciliary care we identified a need from Care Managers and the public asking if we provided a cleaning service. Talking to families we identified a need and are confident we could provide a reliable service. Our client group are elderly, people with learning & physical disability and vulnerable people. We specialise in this client group.

We have several service user’s that have had missed appointments because they couldn’t get to them or a family member has had to reschedule them in their own personal time. We also found that shopping can be a struggle for a lot of people and again takes up a large proportion of their own personal time. We decided that alongside the cleaning service we would combine a support service. This provides Respite Sitting, Accompanied Appointments, Accompanied Shopping Trips, Unaccompanied Shopping Trips and Social Outings.
