F3 HydroPool products are scientific and hygienic alternatives to widely used ice baths that are temperature controllable between 4-16°C The benefits of ice bathing combined with our innovative and user-friendly designs mean that our products have many uses in the sports recovery and sports or medical injury rehabilitation areas. We currently have fixed, mobile and portable ice bathing products that ensure ice bathing can be carried out within any area. Why use ice bathing after exercise?In simple terms it induces a flush like action that eliminates lactic acid build up in the mucles. Ice bathing narrows blood vessels and thus decreases blood flow. Afterwards then the body warms up and a surge of oxygen filled blood is sent to the muscles which carries away any lactic acid which can cause cramp, fatigue and a general feeling of tiredness in the muscles. Ice bathing also helps reduce the natural swelling that occurs to muscle fibres during exercise thus relieving pain.
