Occasionally and recently we have been asked to look at fixing unsafe raised deck platforms which have been built or partially built by local tradesmen who also advertise on social media.
While we do our best to try and help everyone, we don't get ourselves involved in costly mistakes carried out by rogue cowboys who call themselves deck builders.

I would just like to pay tribute to my dear friend Gary Lennon who tragically lost his life yesterday in a tragic accident near Castlewellan. Gary was a great friend to me and my mother and we thought of him as part of the family. Since the passing of my father in April he helped me get back to work and together we made a great team. Gary was a real gentleman who loved life, loved his friends and family and I am honoured to have known him.
... My deepest sympathy goes out to all his family and friends in this difficult time.
Life will never be the same without you mate and I will never forget you.

Composite Deck we finished in Lurgan a few weeks ago

We hired David & FDSNI to build some ranch fencing and gates around our gardens.



This was to make a child friendly garden and keep our dog out when we aren't with her.



David had lots of helpful suggestions as to how best to achieve our plan. He turned up bright & early on the agreed day and worked non stop each day.



The quality and the finish is excellent & we simply love the sleeper steps he built into our grass bank.



We can't recommend him enough and will be keen for David to work on other projects in the future.

As mentioned in previous reviews David pays very close attention to detail and has a creative eye. Very attentive and professional, but also approachable and friendly, it was a pleasure working with both David and Mya.

We plan to have David back next year to continue work in the garden, would highly recommend.

I only had to check out some of the photos of the jobs competed by FDSNI to know I wanted them to design and install our decking. David and his team worked extremely hard on our corner deck and the finished product exceeded all our expectations. The craftsmanship is so professional and the guys had some great ideas for finishing touches. The decking really is an amazing feature in our garden and we couldn't be happier with the friendly and professional service provided.

David spent the day rebuilding old fences blown down in the storm for my neighbour and me, and installing new. He did a great job efficiently and was a lovely guy too.

David replaced my old fence which was damaged by a recent storm with a completely new one. In addition to this he put up a new side gate to stop our dog escaping. I was so impressed with David's work that we are getting him back to complete and additional phase of fencing work on our driveway. I would highly recommend David to anyone, he is reliable and highly professional. He covered all the various details of his work with me before he started and left the area clean and tidy before he left. Thanks again.

David has just replaced my old fence at the front with a completely new one, including posts. As well as that he fenced in the entire back garden to stop my new puppy escaping, and replaced a panel that I have climbing patio plants growing up. He was recommended to me by a family member and I am more than happy to pass the recommendation on. David is pleasant and professional. What can I say really, just an absolutely outstanding job in every aspect! David help us with the design, gave us great ideas and was really flexible to really make it exactly as we wanted. He is professional through and through and a lovely guy to deal with. The work is incredibly precise and even better than I could have imagined. Top quality materials and all round workmanship. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Job was done in under a week and the place was left spotless.

David's workmanship is second to none, he pays great attention to detail and is hardworking. He didn't even mind our dogs stealing stuff from him!! Have no hesitation in recommending David.

David built a run at my parents house for my dog and he did a super job. Well thought out by him to give the dog the best shelter, a wee kennel and a cover for him to sit under. David did a fantastic job and would highly recommend him to anyone. Will definitely be asking him back for any other work I need done. Thanks again David!

David built a balastrade and arch on an elevated patio for me today. He completed it in a day and a half I am totally delighted with it. A first class job. He is such a lovely hard working guy and a total perfectionist. I would strongly recommend David's work to anyone

They left the place immaculate when they finished, and the job was first class. Would highly recommend David to anyone thinking of getting decking.
