About Fieldday Ireland

Alix Mulholland created Field Day Ireland (then called Bog Standard) at her mum's kitchen table, armed only with a selection of soap moulds, oils, fragrances and wax. The business really took off when Alix exhibited at Showcase in Dublin's RDS in 2002. There the brand won a number of Irish stockists (many of whom are still stocking the range) and some exciting international orders. The company weathered the recession to become one of Ireland's best-loved giftware brands with the range expanding to include candles, soaps, hand cream, hand wash, fresheners, sachets, diffusers and drawer liners. We rebranded to Field Day Ireland in April 2017, a name that pays homage to the brand's Irish roots and countryside and also to company's base near the Co Down town of Saintfield. The new brand name also tied in nicely with the launch of Field Apothecary, Field Day's design-led range of six essential oil-based, luxury soy wax candles. The Field Day Ireland home fragrance range is stocked in over 250 stores in Ireland and the UK, including the Kilkenny Group, Meadows and Byrne and Blarney Woollen Mills, along with other leading independent giftware retailers and Belfast & Dublin Airports. The full range can be purchased online at www. fielddayireland. ie (shipping worldwide). The Field Apothecary range, £35 /€40. 95 each (40 hour burn time), is available from Industry & Co, Dublin; The Old Mill Stores, Cork; Cait & I, Sligo; Arnotts, Dublin; Maven, Belfast; Woven, Banbridge; Linen & Latte, Glengormley; A Broader Picture, Portstewart; and Adrian Interiors, Newry - and online at www. fieldapothecary. ie (shipping worldwide).
