Finlay'S Place Description
I'm back home! After 32 years away in Warwickshire I returned to exact place of birth in Nov 2010! My dad, James, bought this small farm, old Georgian farmhouse and conjoined barns in the early 50s and together with his wife Evelyn raised my 3 sisters and me. Since returning I've been doing some major renovating in the house and also setting a new business direction: given the location of this property on a main road, it seems eminently sensible to sell my produce directly to the public. Fresh, good quality, nutritious fruit and vegetables with minimal food miles.

Went today was a great day out for all ages rain or sun .the owner took the time to talk to the kids and told them where everthing was. Just wished we had wellie boots on for this lovely place .veg is top grade from shop to .
We are very happy with selection of pyo fruits and we are returning as we really liked it last year. Delighted with organic goods!

Spent a fabulous few hours here today with age range 2 to 11 children. Redcurrants still plentiful ! The children have challenged the adults to a bake off ... no pressure!
Would highly recommend but we.ll visit earlier next year!

Loved it ! Kids thoroughly enjoyed picking all the berries ! We were made very welcome !
Love the giant strawberries! My clients love them too whether its shloer or pink gin!
I went to Finlay's Place today, we picked the most delicious raspberries, I will definitely be back for more. Beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff x

Great selection of potatoes, five different types. Plenty of good locally grown vegetables. Has his own frozen fruit for this time of year. Has fabulous collection of evergreen branches for Christmas decorations, from his own trees. He also has potted plants and Christmas wreaths. Attached to Finlay’s Place is a superb Artisan Butcher, Killinchy Meats, proprioter is Robert Busby, Master Butcher. Top quality meats, pies, bacon, and burgers, all home made. The whole site highly recommended!
