2017 sees the addition to the French Brothers fleet of some NEW fully accessible boats built specifically for passengers with mobility issues. The boats are fitted with a wheelchair lift and a wheelchair friendly toilet. With level access to the boat at Windsor, access is no longer an issue for groups that have members with mobility issues and of course groups that look after the needs of the disabled. Well worth doing, great day out with fantastic staff on board to help and assist you also with running commentary as you travel up and down the upper Thames, very relaxing day out would highly recommend it.

We were on board the 2 hour sailing yesterday from Windsor at 1.30pm and would like to thank all the staff on board who made it an extremely enjoyable trip. If I had to make one small comment and remove .25 of a point it would be that the skipper be aware when small children are on board and try not to use swear words. We’re working very hard trying to explain that some words you don’t use and yet she heard a few yesterday. It may sound petty but as her aunt and uncle, we are working closely with the rest of the family raising her to be well spoken, well behaved and with manners. It didn’t deter from the fun and enjoyment at all though and we are all very very keen to return. We asked her if next time she would like to go on the ‘yellow one’ instead but she very firmly said no, she wants what we did yesterday. Many thanks to all involved. I was particularly impressed at seeing you as a company employ and teach adults with learning difficulties or SEN’s, very admirable when they get shunned by many other places who don’t give them the chance to prove what they are capable of. Good luck to you all for continued success xx

We did the Historic Victorian Steamboat Cruise from Runnymede to Windsor and beyond to the Boveney Lock & Weir where we turned and came back to Windsor , two hours to Windsor and fourty minutes to the lock and back.

We had a lovely relaxing trip with views of Windsor Castle, Eton and the Racecourses.

The crew were informative and there was a buffet lunch and bar service available throughout the trip.

It was a wonderful picturesque journey and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone

Walking the Thames Path in stages, this was a great was to gently ease ourselves back to where we left the car after a long walk (good guided talk about the area we were traveling too)

Large comfortable way to view the beautiful homes along the riverbank as well as the amazing looking boats on the Thames. It a beautiful town and very popular, especially when the sun is out.



Get there early to be able to park close and then enjoy the many sites.

I had my wedding upon The New Queen Of The Thames the boat is stunning, the crew is amazing so helpful and friendly, Micheal the skipper was brilliant helpful and shared his knowledge of the river very experienced. Thank u 2 Chris 4 ur help and Michelle 4 all the organising. French brothers made our day perfect we never forget our day for all the right reasons, thank u all at French brothers :-)

I booked the French brother private hire river boat shuffle for my mums hen party. Everything from start to finish was so simple. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. The dj was also amazing. Can’t thank the staff enough for making my mums hen do so easy and special. Xx

Great service, we used it to get to the racecourse, everything was perfect, we had a drink on the way there which was a little dear but is to be expected. Will definitely use again

Fantastic trip today with my children on the Lucy Fisher boat. My children loved feeding the ducks from boat and waving to everyone else on the river. Great crew on board so helpful. Will most definitely be telling friends and family and coming back again

Cannot recommend enough. The staff on board and Danny in particular were fantastic. They involved my 3 year old with steering the boat, ringing bells and horns and overall, entertaining him. He loved it as did we. Also took a buggy and my 10 month old and access on and off the boat was easy. Great family day out and good value for money.

Brilliant trip on Sunday for our mums 65th birthday, children and adults all enjoyed it and the afternoon tea was amazing! Will definitely be doing it again. Thank you for a great day

Branch Brothers customer service is second to none. I booked a special trip for my elderly mums birthday, we missed the boat, but the staff went out of their way to make arrangements so that mum and I had a very enjoyable cruise and saved the day. Courtious and super friendly staff and management.

A wonderful friendly and informative cruise. A beautiful boat. Easily accessible and lots of options. The staff were amazing. Highly recommended.

A group of 4 friends went on the trip yesterday it was most enjoyable relaxing and very informative and such a beautiful part of the river Thames. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful trip up to Windsor from Runnymede on a beautiful part of the river. The crew so helpful as my mum is in a wheelchair & needed extra help on and off. Highly recommend.

A most enjoyable 40 min cruise. However I really don't think the driver should have been texting and receiving texts on his phone whilst in charge of the vessel and its passengers. I was sat directly behind him (young lad with broken fingers) today and he had his eyes off the river for up to 10 seconds at a time whilst reading and sending messages.
