In June 2012 Loreto Primary School Omagh closed it's doors for the last time as the school amalgamated with St. Colmcilles Primary School to form the new Holy Family Primary School. During Loreto Primary's last year a group was set up to organise various events to celebrate the history of the school. This is an offical facebook page set up by the Friends of Loreto Group, with permission of the school, to celebrate the history of Loreto Primary in Omagh. The page has been used to share memories, pass on info about events & complie a book to celebrate Loreto's history. As the school has now officially closed
& we have all said goodbye to Loreto for the last time please note that this page will no longer be offically monitored by Friends of Loreto. This means that posts messages & comments will no longer be checked & therefore do not represent the views of Friends of Loreto. As many people are still coming to the page to view photos, etc it is hoped to still leave the page active but please treat it with respect - leave only positive comments & only posts relevant to Friends of Loreto.
