Friends Of Lurgan Model - Pta

Nice to see our school get a mention in this article from yesterday's Irish News, featuring one of our most famous former pupils, AE George Russell. Some of our pupils have studied some of AE's artwork and poetry over the last few years and it's nice to see one of Lurgan's, & indeed Ireland's greats, continue to have his work and influence remembered.

Wow!!! What an amazing morning at our spring concert, thanks to everyone yet again for all your support 🙌🙌🙌 but yet again the stars that shone the brightest where if course the children 💖 we have a hugely talented bunch of kids and it was a delight to show off all the acts that they have worked so hard on ... 💕💕

You may remember this post from a while back? We are delighted that Anthony will be returning to Lurgan Model on Friday 24th May (9:15am to 10:45am) to deliver a PARENT WORKSHOP on Deaf Awareness/sign language. All parents are invited, a note will be going home today, if you wish to attend please return the reply slip.

Reminder - Thank you to all those who have purchased tickets for the Spring Concert. As you know from the letter sent home last week, tickets were restricted to 2 per family this week, to give everyone an opportunity.
From tomorrow- remaining tickets for the Spring Concert are available on a 1st come 1st served basis.
The children and staff are working hard to prepare a great show, with lots of talent on display. We appreciate the support.

Congratulations to all those Year 7 pupils who made Confirmation on Sunday. Thanks to parents, sponsors, all at St Peters, our choir and of course Mrs Roderick, Mr O'Hagan & Miss Gray for all their work in preparation.

World Book Day 2019. Lots of prizes given out today and loads of fun to be had. As you can see the kids are enjoying the day.
Thank you to all the parents and carers for such brilliant costumes and support.

On Friday Year 6 participated in ‘Play for a Day.’ They worked extremely hard and performed their play to our pupils. The title of the play was ‘Click Safe’ and many important internet safety messages were shared. They also had lots of fun along the way! 🎬

Due to staff absence there will be no 223 Club (Afterschool)today.
All pupils in Year 1, 2 and 3 should be collected at 2pm.
