Really enjoyed this! Thought the whole thing was really well put together... it delivered on scares and the lads that worked there were great- still smiling and enthusiastic! The guy outside the circus and smiley were great sports- thanks!

User

Really enjoyed my 1st time experience and would recommend it to anyone who likes a good laugh and afew jumps

Just home from my first time at Fright Night and I can't recommend it enough. Having just come home from America and doing the big budget Halloween Horror Nights, I must say we weren't expecting much, but I am honestly so impressed with what Jungle NI have put together. The scale of the production was huge, it all looked amazing and the attention to detail was great. The different Haunted Houses/Walks were amazing, all unique & fun. The price was also good and well worth the long drive up. Such a unique attraction for NI and I will definitely be back.

I will say the only complaint I have is the other members of public who were VERY vocal to the detriment of the actors and the rest of the audience experience, especially in the haunted forest walk. This type of immersive theatre is so much fun when others respect the actors who are telling their stories. Unfortunately a couple of people ruined the experience for us by making rude comments and unnecessarily talking back to the actors in a desperate attempt to be "funny" but just ended up sounding moany and annoying. Well done to the actors who handled the situation well and continued with their performance.

We will definitely be back next year!

User

I'm just blown away at how amazing this was. Never seen anything like this in all my puff. And the staff are so awesome too. Definitely making this an annual Halloween essential from now on.

User

Had so many laughs here last night, well worth every penny, and so well run! I have never screamed/laughed so much in my life, highly recommend to anyone, but bring wellies for the cornfield!

Fantastic nights craic. Best to go in a group. We did the woodland trail which was deadon but the circus and inbred house was brilliant. The staff are class really well done!

User

Very good night - very atmospheric and creepy; this was our third time going and we'll definitely be back! Only downfall I could going was when I was going through the mine (not give too much away for people who haven't been), a nail which had been left on the ground went through my shoe and stabbed me in the foot! The member of staff we told was very helpful though and checked the area for any more nails which were lying around!

Well this was my 2nd time at fright night, last year was so good, such a good night!! Went this year and unfortunately there where a few things that just didnā€™t do it for me and the others in my group. We had got tickets for all 5 attractions, so we done the hay cart 1st, last year it was good but not fantastic, this year I have to say they stepped it up, it was very very good!!! Then to go onto the claustraforest where again it was brill last year, it was good this year but when u had to go through the big black tunnels it wasnā€™t great, the flooring you had to walk on to get through them was so wet and sloppy you couldnā€™t get a grip to push yourself through, which was making it so hard to get through the tight space, my friend got stuck half way in as the the floor was so wet and no grip, she was gasping for air!!! When me and 2 others got out the other side we said to stop and wait as someone was having trouble in there, one of the actors came up and was like come on keep going and we where like sorry our friend is in there and sheā€™s stuck and canā€™t breath!!! Well she was not use what so ever she just stood and look a us!!! So one person from our group had to go back into the tunnel to help our group member!!!! From that we went onto do the circus, where las year it was so good it really did fear me!!! This year yes it did the same as I didnā€™t want to go back in but i did as the others in my group where saying itā€™ll be fine, so I did. Well yes it was very good was enjoying it, UNTILL we got to the part where u had to go up a wooden ramp to get over the bridge to end the attraction!!!! So as we where getting chased by a chain saw man ā€œwhat he was ment to be doing and it was brillā€ but because there had been so much rain the water had started coming into the tent and when u had to go up ramp it was so dangerous!!!! It was like a skating ring!!! I fell face 1st down hitting my head with some force on the wooden ramp as it was so wet and slippy I had no grip at all!!!! When I had got out of the circus I had gone to the member of staff at the door and said to her about what had happened and that itā€™s very dangerous and someone could end up getting hurt unlike me!!! She just said oh right ok!!!! Until I noticed my head was bleeding, the woman from the ambulance had come over to see if everything was ok, once the girl at the door had see the ambluance come over then she only made a shape to go and see what it was like!!!!! From that we done the inbred house where last year it was unreal!!!!! This year it was so pathetic, the actors that where ment to in there hiding spots didnā€™t realise that our group had come in and they where all standing chatting, not in there positions to start there role!!! It wasnā€™t great was very disappointed!!! So we only had 1 more to do and that was the new attraction THE slaughter house!! I have to say this was absolutely fantastic, was unreal!!!

User

Well I don't scare easy so this was a piece of pish compared to what I thought was coming! Come on jump out in the dark forests, don't just let us pat your dog. The scary twins couldn't hold a straight face either and my daughter does better face makeup.

I got stuck in black plastic tunnel dragging my daughter behind me whilst down to my last inch of oxygen as they were wet, the floor was wet, everything was wet and you had no traction. Then the slippery boards were worse. My daughter has a 5" bruise to both knees and a bigger one on hip from falling. Friend bashed his head on ramp and seriously the dude with the axe? ? Personal space!!! Must say chainsaw guys were the best. Helped out when daughter freaked and stopped on queue then carried on like true professionals! Had a great night but thought safety should have been a bit tighter. I saw others with first aiders getting arms and knees fixed. Weather rules not the dollar. If you'd ran that harvester after the cart I could have forgiven all.

User

The haunted houses were excellent, the character performers were awesome. However, the rates are too high, the lineups are too long, and the fast track people go in while the regular ticket holders wait for an hour or more. So much I didn't get to do or see because of the line-ups. I won't go back unfortunately.

User

Having worked at a scare attraction in England this month, I came to see what it would be like as a punter. A mixed review from me: the theming of the whole set up is really cool, the soundtrack and lighting throughout the forest is very effective and the mazes themselves are very well designed and constructed. Features such as the claustrophobia tunnels in the Claustroforest and the rotating tunnel in the Circus are really cool, and the Slaughterhouse is a really unique concept and well executed. I liked the heightened sensory experiences that the mazes gave you, having to climb up and down paths and duck and weave was enjoyably disorientating, although I imagine on wetter nights would become health and safety hazards.

What let it down for me was the acting. Firstly the mazes were too sparsely populated with actors, but the main problem was that the actors didn't do much beyond staring back at you. In the Inbred Horror House, the first few actors were caught off guard by our presence as they were too busy having a conversation, and there was only one actor throughout the entire site that said something more than 'get out', 'get down', or screaming at us (the Dorian Gray scientist, whose efforts to actually act were cancelled out by the guy in the electric chair that just sat grinning whilst he was supposedly being fried).

There was an over reliance on chainsaws (in the Circus, really?) and masks, and the actors seemed to expect the customers to do the hard work of scaring themselves.

Admittedly I didn't get to experience the woodland trail, which I suspect is the best maze, but unfortunately it was too expensive for me.

Overall, I thought it was such a shame that the acting detracted from the event, as evidently a lot of hard work has gone into putting together some very cool and exciting mazes, so I would suggest that in the future a greater emphasis be put on rehearsals to train the actors in a number of scare acting techniques and to allow them to convey more of a story throughout the mazes too.

However, the rates are too high, the lineups are too long, and the fast track people go in while the regular ticket holders wait for an hour or more. So much I didn't get to do or see because of the line-ups. I won't go back unfortunately.
