Galgorm Resort & Spa

Went for a 30th birthday celebration. Afternoon tea, deluxe room, access to the spa & a 3 course evening meal with breakfast in the morning. Couldn't have asked for more. Great staff & facilities. The extension to the thermal spa is unreal! Not going to lie - it is expensive but so so worth it!

I had a fantastic time the staff were lovely. The room I stayed in was amazing. I d never been before but love the experience of it. I will be back.

I got the "twilight package" with some friends, which gave us use of the thermal village and dinner at Gillies. It was fantastic value for money. The staff were friendly, the facilities were great, and the food was lovely. All in beautiful surroundings. Could not fault anything about my evening.

The Galgorm Resort & Spa is a very nice place to visit and the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Staff are excellent and very helpful as are the restaurants. If this was all there was to review it would probably get 5 stars.

However there is a major issue, and it's the boarder line scandalous price they charge for drinks (both soft and alcohol). A 330ml bottle of beer costs around £6 depending on type and a 250ml soft drink can cost over £3. This is pure profiteering of customers who can't go else where and is around 50% more than a public bar would charge. There is no need to charge this much and it actually discourages you from buying drinks. I understand that hotels cost a bit more for these things but I have never felt ripped off when buying drinks before.

We stayed as a guest for my wife's birthday, I wanted to treat her to a day at the Spa and some drinks. It was the perfect birthday gift, the hotel is fantastic and we'll equipped for any of your needs. I would specifically recommend staying in the Deluxe rooms and if possible on the fifth floor, we were really lucky to get a room overlooking the river. The thermal village included with our stay was brilliant and we made full use of the hot tubs, pools, saunas and hydrotherapy. If you are looking for a luxury getaway or even as a wedding venue (we stayed once before for our friends wedding) then the Galgorm is one of, if not THE best place in Northern Ireland to stay. The only thing I'd say is that it can be quite pricey eating and drinking at the resort, but luxury does come with a cost.

Staff were professional the entire time. The area itself looks outstanding. It's a bit more expensive than most places, but there's a good reason for it.

To all the potential brides and grooms looking for somewhere to host your special day
Galgorm resort and spa was absolutely perfect from the first second being greeted by the gentleman in a tweed suit to the concierge who took us to the room Paul went not just the extra mile but 100 miles plus ,outstanding.
Then when we came to the actual day the manager looking after us Paul was astonishing
on the money from the second we set eyes on him too two days later.
the staff are the best i have ever dealt with anywhere in the world and i am the fussiest person you would ever meet ,by a country mile .
so Galgorm Resort and spar gets a 6 star from me and my family and the wedding for Michael Timmins and miss Louise Brown was perfect from the first second to the last if you want to ever speak to put your mind at rest get my details from Kerri Anne who arranged every room for all my guests

A group of us stayed in the log cabins which were amazing! Very clean and comfor table! The spa was amazing and beautiful views! We had a very enjoyable stay!

Amazing hotel and resort - lovely spa.
It's so big but it doesn't feel too busy because there are so many different spaces and areas.
We visited for a wedding, there were 3 on at the same time, but you wouldn't have known.
The service was incredible and we can't wait to go back.
