Giggles Early Years

Giggles is having a pajama day tomorrow Wednesday 27th February in aid of fight for Alfie, suggested donation £1 per child.

Giggles is seeking enthusiastic play workers to work within a busy after school. An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to get involved in a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors is necessary including Arts, Crafts, Sports and Music. Must be available 2.00-6.00pm daily. Minimum of Level 3 play-work or equivalent is essential and prior experience working within an after school is desirable. Giggles is proud to announce the opening of our new Afterschool located next door to infinity. We currently registering children so if your child would like an opportunity to experience our Award winning Afterschool please get in touch! Play based in a natural environment which promotes collaborative play and curiosity.

... EAL two year programme - 9.15am-11.45am
Funded preschool - closed Thursday 3rd January for staff development
After school - full day wrap around (Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th January)

Today we had our annual Social Services inspection! We are delighted with the feedback we had from the three inspecting social workers: “The range of quality authentic resources”, the “invitations to play for the Children”, the “creative way the children’s work is displayed and celebrated” and finally the quality of the interactions! All areas of inspection fully compliant with the standards! We would like to pay tribute to the staff team who work so hard for all the children entrusted in our care! Also thank you to our parents who support us in our pursuit for the best for their children! We are proud to be more than a daycare! Giggles has just received official confirmation that we are to again be recognised as an International Centre of Excellence for Early Years provision. This is the pinnacle award for those working in the early years field. We are currently the only Daycare in the Newry and Mourne area to hold this award. There are only 4 Daycare settings out of over 330 in the whole of Northern Ireland who currently have this accreditation. Well done to the whole staff team reflecting the excellent provision in Giggles. My son loved going here!! The girls in his room where fantastic with him and they had great patience when he was settling in!! And taught him how to sign language as he doesn't talk much!!!

I could not recommend this place enough! My girls absolutely love it! All staff goes above and beyond

Couldnt have asked for a better place for my son to be in, taught him everything from crawling to potty training to numbers and colours� he loved it so much and took such a loving to the girls, couldn't thank them all enough for everything they done for him�
