Lunch today at Tea rooms. Food excellent, helpful pleasant staff and unique ambience. Plenty to see and do at the Castle.

Worse than unhelpful. Intransigent.
Visited Glenarm Castle Tea Rooms today. My guest has very particular dietry needs so, I asked for Scrambled Eggs with buttered soft white bread. I was told that the brekfast menu had finished at 12 midday and scrambled eggs were not on the menu after that time.
I explained my guests special needs, but was told repeatedly that the kitchen would not do scrambled eggs after 12 noon.
I asked to speak to the member of staff in charge. I was informed that a manager was not present and was directed to a supervisor. After explaining my guests special needs again, I was repeatedly told that I could not order scrambled eggs after 12 midday. The supervisor went on to inform me that the menu had a suitable alternative. Soup
I explained that my guest was unable to deal with soup.
The supervisor repeated that they were offering an alternative to eggs. The soup.
At no time did anyone offer to ask if the kitchen would be prepared to make an exception to cater for my guests special dietry needs.

Lunch ended up being white bread, butter and raspberry jam.

Thoroughly disgusted by the unhelpful attitude myself and guests were shown.

A beautiful setting where we enjoyed walking round the walled garden. Gorgeous selection of plants and flowers and an array of colours that made this garden well worth a visit. It was a glorious sunny day so we had an al fresco lunch on the decking outside the cafeteria. Delicious food in a really tranquil setting.

Lovely place gardens beautiful tearoom very nice and very clean all over including toilets. Would have been nice to have longer walks on site, Glenarm is lovely sleepy little town with amazing views.

The grounds are beautiful, especially if your seeking piece and quiet. The coffee shop has just recently been refurbished. On a sunny day: cannot be beaten. Food is very good and now have bike stands for the many cyclists who visit. Well done!

My family, including our dog, travelled from Belfast to Glenarm Castle for the Tulip Festival on Bank holiday Monday 1st May 2017. Staffed seemed nice enough from the entrance right up to the point of payment to get in. However, not once did any of the staff, for which there were quite a few, tell us or anyone else with dogs for that matter, that dogs were not allowed! The staff talked to us, acknowledged our dog several times, guided us with the dog through the car park both before and after parking, showed us were to queue, were we stood for almost 30 mins, and as we handed over our cash, we were told "sorry, dogs are not allowed". All the other dog owners in the queue were disappointed and in agreement with us, that after waiting so long, the staff, nor any signage, informed us that dogs were not allowed. I politely questioned this with a staff member on the way out, only to receive a shrug of his shoulders. Good to see the recruitment and training personnel are picking the best of the worst! It was our first time here and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately first impressions last.
