Very hospitable. The rooms were quite cozy and had all of the amenities I was looking for in a hostel. I didn't do laundry here but knowing it was available was a perk.

All Around Best Hostel I've Been To

I would like to start off saying my mom and I are at the end of a 32 day backpacking trip through Europe and the UK. Out of all the hostels we've stayed in this trip, and ones I've stayed in on other trips, this was my favorite and most accommodating.

It was the best on SO many levels. When we got there, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We screwed up a bit in the booking part and they worked with us and helped us out tremendously. Once checked in, we got a great tour of the facilities.

-They have a great TV area where people can watch Netflix, use their computers or just hang out
-They have a nice open kitchen with 2 sinks for convenience
-A cool dining area next to the kitchen that has a pool table and foosball table along with seating
-You can wash and dry laundry for a small charge
-The rooms are large! Great size! (We stayed in both the 4 and 6 bed rooms)
-They have included breakfast, which is always a plus

It had a really great and comfortable vibe. If you just wanted to meet people and hang out, you could. It was in a killer location, a short walk to everywhere you want or need to go.

I really couldn't speak or think any more highly of this place. You will love it.

Fun hostel. Provided breakfast and encouraged people to meet one another with their nightly outings. Rooms were basic and unfortunately most of the lockers in our room were broken. They have a luggage room that you can store your bags in even after you've checked out, but it's not locked. Walking distance from lots of bars, restaurants, and the city center

I was amazed on how great our stay was at this hostel, and how well we were taken care of, even subsequent to our stay at the hostel.
We were a group of three backpackers who only stayed for two nights, but still managed to meet lots of awesome people, especially within the staff. We managed to store our backpacks, hanging out with the other guests and volunteers and getting help with whatever help/information we required. And all this completely free. It was great to meet volunteers who didn't just try to empty our pockets, but genuinely wanted to help, and meeting new friends with all the bycommers by the hostel.

The guests also meet at the hostel in the evening, plays beer pong etc. and have a great time, before they venture out into the streets of belfast. This is also a good way to find some good pubs, whatever you may be looking for, even if it is live music or dance clubs.
We were still invited to this trip subsequent to our stay, since our group had managed to get a lot of new friends here.

If you want to plan a trip to Belfast I can definitely recommend Global Village Hostel If you are lucky enough for rooms to still be available, then hurry up and book your stay! If this is not the best hostel in Northern Ireland it's damn close!

The free breakfast may "only" consists of toast and cereal, the Wi-Fi may act a bit strange and the walls can seem very thin late at night, but this hostel is still worth every penny. Definitely do yourself a favor and try this hostel out!

Immediately after walking through the door, you'll feel a fun vibe coming from this hostel. It's a great place to stay for Belfast! Wifi might be choppy and just a toast/cereal breakfast, but everything else about this hostel is great!

Definitely the best hostel I've ever been too!! The staff was really nice and made me feel like at home. A smoking area, a kitchen, a chill room with Netflix and instuments, clean rooms and bathrooms, what else could we ask for? I wish I could have stayed a bit more longer to play a few more beer pongs with everyone! Take care everyone, if I go back to Belfast, I won't even look to the other hostels, i'll come back! (You should have paid me for this wonderful review haha)

Best hostel I've been to. Extremely helpful staff, really accommodating rooms, and bunks that can be closed off for a more personal space. 10/10 would hostel there again.
