Gloria is a professional vocal coach, vocalist and singer songwriter.

Clients

Gloria has been teaching singing since 2003 privately, for renowned singing agency Vocaltutor, and various other clients such as East Berkshire College (Performing Arts BTEC Diploma), Thames Valley University, primary and secondary schools, youth centres, night classes, choirs and for other small and large groups and ensembles.

Several of Gloria's students have had great success after she helped them to prepare for important auditions and exams. Some of them have successfully auditioned for main roles in West End productions such as "Oliver", "Evita" and "Never forget" (Take That Musical), and other Musical theatre productions such as “Kiss me Kate” at the Hexagon Theatre in Reading. Some other students have been selected to perform in “Britain's got talent” and have secured singing scholarships.



Qualifications and Experience

Gloria has a Diploma in Teaching Singing from the London College of Music and Media in Ealing London, and a City and Guilds Certificate for Further Education Teaching.

Gloria is also a trained vocalist, recording artist and songwriter as well as a professional vocal coach. She has written and released 2 original material albums within the pop /soul /latin genre. Gloria performs regularly as an original artist around the UK, as well as the main vocalist in various function bands. Her artist's website is www. gloriagarcia. co. uk



CRB and Public Liability Insurance

She also holds an enhanced current CRB check to work with children, young people and vulnerable adults and has Public Liability Insurance as a member of the Musician's Union.



Gloria is an associate teacher for renowned UK singing agency Vocaltutor.



Gloria is also currently a Regional Educational Partner and Judge at the Teen Star 2012 Competition and a supporter of Open Mic UK. She was also one of the judges for national singing competition IDOL UK 2008, where she auditioned contestants to compete for a top recording deal.
