In April 2015, Gracehill House & Golf Club was bought over and the new owners have transformed the clubhouse into a modern bar & restaurant the Belltower. Situated behind the Georgian House, the Belltower is establishing itself as a foodie destination and will serve Gracehill House when it transforms into a 12 bedroom ensuite boutique hotel.

Gracehill House History
Gracehill House was built in c. 1775 by King James Stuart, who named it after his wife, Grace Lynd. King James, who sadly died on his way to Ireland when his ship sank in the treacherous Irish Sea, passed the estate onto his grandson, William Stuart. It then remained in the Stuart family for many years. In 1872 James Stewart Irwin was the owner. The house was bought in 1955 by Major Windsor, who had married a Chichester of Galgorm, bought from him by the Gillan family in 1971, who then turned the landscape into an 18-hole championship golf course in 1995.
