A great experience with plenty of interactivity. Using background music from the plethora of Orange bands would enhance the visit and earn that final fifth star!

If you want to see a very one sided view or Orange heritage, this is as good a place as any. Perhaps I missed the exhibit that featured peacemakers Ian Paisley senior and David Trimble? It is possible as I felt so incredibly unwelcome and uncomfortable I was glad to leave. There are CCTV cameras all over and I felt that my moments of quiet contemplation were not as private as one would hope. I haven't encountered one of my many protestant friends who feel comfortable with this place. At one stage they had an arrangement of flags out front signifying the countries that had Orange lodges, with the exception of the Irish flag (where they do indeed have Orange lodges). This museum does not appear to represent Orange heritage as the name of the place would claim, rather it appears to represent a hard line inflexible branch of Orangism. There are progressive voices within Orangism but I doubt there is much room for them here.

I wouldn't advise anyone to waste their time and money here, there are a few good exhibits and some interesting pictures of various orange men throughout the world but the lack of respect for the broader movement and opinions that don't fit in to the narrative that creators of this place appear to want to push as the only truth really do the Order no justice. The Ulster museum is a far more enjoyable, inclusive and objective experience. You won't find lots of exhibits dedicated to the Orange Order but there is so much more to Northern Ireland than the narrow view of history offered by the Museum of Orange Heritage.

I like how there is so much detail in the information. I will have to come back again to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Just had lunch excellent, food beautiful.

Slanted view of history to try and support their narrow nationalist views.

Awful apologetics regarding Martin Luther's blatant antisemitism.
