A prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected for our area. 🥶 • A frigid arctic air mass and strong winds will result in wind chill values of minus 30 to minus 35 tonight through to friday morning. • Extreme cold puts everyone at risk. Cover up if heading outdoors. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.
