We are trying to do our wee bit for the environment... We have a number of reusable lunch boxes for any of our menu items. By using these reusuable containers, you will save 40p per item, and also off course help reduce rubbish to landfill..
Compostable containers are good, when we bin them properly, but reusables are best!
... Also feel free to bring your own container in, we dont mind washing them if needs be to get your discount and help reduce waste.

We would like to welcome Maggies to the growing Newry cafe scene! We wish the Hub and in particular our Chloe all the best with their new venture!

Another day is done! thats us for a few hours, back at bright and breezy from 6am to 11pm!

Tonight was the first St Patricks Day we have opened after 7pm.
And it was lovely, a nice alternative to the usual pub St Patricks Day, was enjoyed by us, and the full house! Loved it!
Thanks to Briege, Finbar and Paul for entertaining us! It was nice to have live music back in the cafe, and who knows we might make it a regular thing

Visited on Monday. The coffee was good and they adapt the menu so you can add or remove what you'd like. Great breakfast. Staff was really friendly. Will go back if in the area!

I'm getting old, Barry told me so! That's what I love about Grounded. You walk in the door and your treated as a friend, neighbour and relative all in one. As a friend, neighbour or relative you get great service, great fun and great food!

Had to put a review up, this place is a wee hidden gem, food was so tasty, staff r so nice very personal, ya wont find the same ambunance in any other restaurant. Thanks guys!

Came in for breakfast grill this morn. Topped off with a paper and a coffee. Had to sit a while after I was finished though - 'Going Underground' by The Jam was playing, followed by 'Penny Lane' by the Beatles! A breakfast of epic proportions!!

Best place for coffee,food and good craicd in newry.

Best coffee shop about.. Open early to late.. Friendly staff, good service and great coffee.. After a 12 mile cycle to work it's a god send at 5.30am..

My daughter didn't get your name but your kind words and thoughtfulness meant so much and helped keep her calm. Thank you so much �

10/10,,, food is delish and great value,, staff are friendly and attentive,, definitely one of the better places to eat all round within a 10 mile radius of Dundalk,,, i've been going here since it opened 10 yrs ago,,, always clean me plate,,, mmmmm

Second time being here. Second time I've had to wait at least 20 Minutes by a dirty table for staff to come clean it and then wait even longer for them to come with a menu. Disappointing really. As I'm writing this I see people come in after us and still get quicker service. Not good lads, sort it out.

Worst fry ever or grill as they call it, raw tomato, sogey scrambled eggs, horrible bacon just awful, we were so disappointed

This has been pondering on my mind for a while, this place has been opened since I’ve been in primary school and the interior and design hasn’t changed once. I feel it’s really due a renovation with the money being generated im yous could close and gut the place out. I had scum and lipstick round my glass which is very unhygienic and the furniture is very uncomfortable to say the least. The service was brutal, table wasn’t cleaned and the feng shui is all wrong so claustrophobic.
