Paul is a legend and makes the best cherry coke on earth

User

Loved it here, it was our 1st time coming here and we were very pleased with all of it, a really nice welcome when we walked it we pre booked as there were 7 of us, we had a lovely waitress named Laura, she was so lovely very chatty and interactive with us all even the kiddos, the loo's were clean to which was a brilliant thing as most harvester toliets are filthy, the food was served in super time and cooked perfectly, we will def be going back

User

I always enjoy myself in the Harvester. What makes it so nice is the people who work there. Paul is never too busy to say hi. :)

User

Food very good standard with good portion sizes.Roz (whilst heavily pregnant) was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu.

User

Five of us went for breakfast on Saturday the waitress was attentive and when asked for advice on certain things, she couldn't have been more helpful. When we left our bellies were full and we all felt relaxed and ready to take on the challenges of the day. Would definitely do it again!

User

33 of us on one of the busiest days x great service, great food and great afternoon had by all as the Gung Ho team refuelled!! Well done and massive thank you to the Harvester, Windsor!!

Arrived at the restaurant at 1115 was waiting about 5 minutes to be greeted when we was greeted we were asked if we wanted breakfast or main menu we said main menu the greeter informed us that main menu didn't start for another 10 minutes not a problem we thought order drinks by the time our glasses had arrived it would be close enough to 1130 to order our meals how wrong was we maybe the 5 minutes waiting to be greeted should have given us a clue so 1120 finally greeted and seated we order 2 refillable drinks and proceed to wait 20 minutes for the glasses to arrive not sure what takes 20 minutes to fill 2 glasses with ice by this time it's 1140 bearing in mind main menu starts at 1130 we then have to wait another 5-10 minutes to order our meals and also have to wait for the salad bar to open we order 2 burgers from the £7.99 menu where we are told if we want we can have cheese and bacon no mention of increased price and we can also have double fries for £1 extra this sounds good to me a bacon cheese burger with double fries for £8.99 that's like going to burger king great offer however I was wrong there was an increased price for the cheese and the bacon how very naughty trying to pass something off without a price to then charge for it this now bargain £8.99 meal comes to nearly £11 no longer a bargain as if you go off harvesters main menu you can get better burgers for this price so we come to finishing our meals last piece goes in mouth still chewing and the waitress comes over to take the plates (while we are still eating) and asks if we would like dessert we swollow our food and say no we overall service was very poor however the food was ok I kind of regret no taking a photo to show how ok the food was I will not be returning to this restaurant any time soon

Had dinner here last night but unfortunately it was not a relaxing evening & we couldn’t wait to leave, my son has learning difficulties & the harvester is his favourite place as he only eats certain foods, bread being one of them. Unfortunately there was only a few brown rolls left & no white ones until just before we were ready to leave, the table next to us had two children, the older child spent the whole time kicking the back of my chair whilst I was eating. The parents never told the boy of once. On a positive note the bar staff & waitresses were nice.i also wasn’t aware that they aren’t allowed to sell Pepsi on the refill anymore because of obesity rates yet can sell bottles of coke.

User

just had breakfast here, not that great.

normally go to the harvester in old Windsor, but for once we decided a change, and went to the harvester which is around 10 minutes away from my house.

when we got there no one noticed us waiting for ages, then we were taken to our table, and we then waited even longer... I understand that sometimes in life you do have to wait and that’s perfectly acceptable, but this was taking sooooo long. our food finally came, I ordered the make your own breakfast, and some items were missing when it came the vegan sausages were inedible which is a shame, it was like eating a stick. the fries tasted as if they were fried 5x already. not great.

also my boyfriend had some pancakes from the menu and they looked shop brought when they came out and he also said that they tasted shop brought, the fruit on top was not fresh. it’s pretty disgusting charging money for something that I could pop down to Tesco and make and probably for cheaper and better value. STAY AWAY seems like this place is going back downhill again.

User

What an awful visit we had !! So basically the salad cart was gross it looked like a kid had just attacked it and thrown different bits of food into each other.. the toilets were dirty the food was rank .. all in all I won’t be going back.. the only saving grace was the manager who was really sweet and offered me a percentage off the bill..also just as we sat down world war 3 kicked off in the kitchen don’t great when you have 2 young kids .. the male older waiter has to be the rudest man on the planet and the rest of the staff couldn’t give a rats arse ....

User

Went today with my oh and 3 children what a complete disappointment first not a big problem but no activity sheets for the kids, they had 'run out' the meals were dry and burnt and not even close to the description in the menu made worse by the fact the salad bar was half empty and looked like it had seen better days . Then to top it off my 2yr old sons fresh banana with custard and choc buttons pudding turned out to be a rather hot half bowl of banana flavoured custard he feeds himself but there was no warning from the waiter 'oh this is hot' it was only when his little face distorted i realised. Upset i wasted the money that could have been used on a proper day out.

User

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning, given a table to the left of the bar and had to walk through old scraps of food on the floor and a pile of muck. Looks like it’s been there a long time as well judging by the sweetcorn!

User

We came to the harvester after a day at legoland on Monday. We arrived and was told no tables for a hour( I get that) . I spotted a table in bar in which I got told if you want it then you will need to clear table. In which we did as we had 2 small hungry kids. I then went to order at bar and the bar staff disappeared and had to wait 10 mins before anyone came over! Dinner took over the hour to come out and when it did my daughters food was still frozen!! When it came back it was awful. I had to ask 3 different staff for cutlery. Then had to find staff for there desert! We was so disappointed in this restaurant that we will not be coming back! In fact I went again to legoland Thursday and I would of gone back here if we had a better experience but instead we went to a local pub and the food/ service was fantastic. Shame on you harvester! You’ve let yourself down!!

User

Terrible service ... no cutlery on the table .. asked 3 times and still none so had to go searching from another table.. waited 15 mins before even seeing a waiter.. 35 mins later a cold starter- was even asked if we wanted our starter and main course together.. why ? A starter is a starter... food at the salad cart was sparce.. Will NOT go back .. awful place..

User

Table booked for 1900 on Sunday just gone for 6 adults and 2 children. We didn't get our table until 1945!! An hour later our meals arrived on our table minus a couple of orders. Despite asking for the steak to be rare, it came out a little bit crispy! Everyone's meals were overcooked! The manager gave us 20% off, but I don't think I'll be going back here again. Customer service seemed non existent and we just couldn't wait to get out of there.

User

Shocking service by the most impolite man! Cold food. Missed meal! Wrong drinks. So never return. Should never have taken the manager out. The new one doesn't care. That place will go straight back downhill.

Only decent thing is Paul!

Our waiter was rude and impolite.

Came on Sunday 8/10/17 at 4:45 with a party of 10 for an 18th Birthday. Had to sit on the 3rd level, even tho a ground floor was requested due to disabled person. Cutlery was so dirty, there was food still in the prongs of the forks. Requested clean cutlery, but ended up changing it ourselves from the drawer in front of our table. Ok, so ordered food and visited the salad card. No bowls. Food was cooked and sat under the lights for near on 20 minutes and was cold by the time we got it. Even the cheesey garlic bread was turning blue where it had gotten cold. Desserts were lacking oomph. Littlest one ordered a fruit salad and they took so long to do that, they ran out of it. The whole meal came to over £200 and I was disgusted. Harvester has gone downhill so much in my opinion. It used to be such a pleasure to eat there in the 80s when it was a proper pub. There were only 3 waiting staff that we could see, run ragged all over the 3 floors. I think you ought to employ more staff and get your business back on track. I wont be back to The Windsor Lad. In fact, I think I shall give The Harvester Group a wide berth and find an Hungry Horse Restaurant to eat at.

User

Booked a table for 5:30 was seated on time placed our order and then waited and waited at 7:45 asked where our food was and it had not even been put through with two small boys who are tired and hungry after a day @legoland it’s not good we got no apologies at all
