Established in the late 1700's, The Head O' The Road has been in the Lawson family since 1932, evolving from a traditional spirit /grocer to today's award winning bar & restaurant.

From the outset, you will appreciate the historic, listed building which lends itself to creating a charming & welcoming atmosphere that provides superb food & drink.

From the traditional front bar & original restaurant to the rustic cabin area, The Head O' The Road has it all. Gather round the blazing fire & take in yarns of old from many of our regulars or adjourn to the homely restaurant & sample some of our culinary delights.
