We were here for dinner on a Saturday last week. Lovely local foods and drink (try the Farmageddon beers). We had the crispy salt and pepper squid, seafood boxty, venison (instead of beef - this my partner loved) and sticky Guinness pudding. The service was absolutely wonderful and attentive, we felt warmly welcome. All in all one of the very best dining experiences me and my partner have ever had. Also got tips for bars to visit after dinner from the staff. This made our night. Thank you Holohans ;)

We loved our visit to Holohans on a cold January Sunday afternoon. The staff gave us a warm welcome with wine for myself, coffee for the drivers and delicious hot chocolate for the grandchildren. There was no sign of hamburgers on the menu but that wasn't a problem and my grandsons got their 'burger and chips'. I would definitely recommend Holohans for a relaxed, family, late Sunday lunch.

We called here to eat last weekend. This is such a quaint place with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious! I would highly recommend a visit.��

My husband brought me here today as a treat I had the muscles, lamb boxty, followed by the chocolate tart. I really enjoyed it service was excellent and staff r well informed. Looking forward to dinning here again soon.

Love this place, we've been trusting Holohans for years now. I'm a ceoliac and find it hard to trust places to cook for me. I also don't have to make sacrifices with my choices as they offer a good range and did I mention the food is amazing, and so are the wine recommendations along with the passion of the team and knowledge of their products and recipes. I absolutely loved my meal at Holohan's Pantry. My mother and I were visiting Belfast and stayed at the Tara Lodge and were looking for something local. The reviews sounded good, so we thought we'd try. From the first phone call, Calvin was SO helpful in getting our booking sorted and when we arrived, spent such a long time with us explaining the menu, all the specials, the wines, and the drinks. We had 1 starter special (slow cooked pork with a celeriac remoulade), 1 from the main menu (smoked salmon with creme fraiche) and then 2 specials for mains - the Boxty and the a fish dish. All were absolutely delicious - one of the best meals I've had in ages. The hosting, the atmosphere and food were just fantastic. I'd return in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and really passionate hosts.

Great atmosphere and really good food(with some Irish favourites)-the best we’ve had in Belfast this trip. The staff were so welcoming and hospitable it really made our evening. A definite must if you’re looking for great food in a lively, but not raucous, setting. And, judging by the number of people who tried to get tables, but had had to be turned away, word is obviously out:)

Beautiful restaurant, gorgeous food and brilliant servers! my partner called ahead of time to clarify that I have a dairy allergy; on arrival the host talked through the menu with me. The whole time I was assured and relaxed. Servers were incredibly knowledged and helped choose a gorgeous wine. Brilliant prices as well. Can't wait for an excuse to visit again, one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.

An amazing home for home style restaurant. Well my husband and I have been to the beer, boxty & ballad evening, great value, great food and great Irish style lilts! We have also been for a lovely Sunday roast with our newborn baby girl. The staff are extremely baby friendly and family oriented. We had a very relaxing first meal out with the little one. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

After exploring trip advisor for recommendations I decided to make a booking.

We booked a mini trip to belfast to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday, to everyone that doesn't know me my sense of direction is awful but walking 2.8 miles from the Titanic quarter was worth every step.

We received a warm welcome and taken to our table ( after we had cooled down ).

These guys really do have the pleasure telling their guests about the menu and wine list.

We all choose the Boxty and it was out of this world.

Great recommendation too to get a taxi to Kelly's bar for after dinner drinks.

Thank you again, we loved Belfast and we will most certainly be back ���
