Great performance by Kyle Owen last night in Llandudno junction winning a unanimous decision against a tough opponent from Dyffryn abc Also on the bill was Luke Mcgivern who lost his bout against a tricky opponent also from Dyffryn abc he gave it everything in a cracking fight and will learn a great deal from this fight

We have noticed over the last few weeks that things have gone missing from the club. First gloves then a few weeks ago our hoover and tonight i noticed that one of our autographed boxing photos has disappeared if this carries on we will have to install cctv at great cost to the club hope your happy with yourself

For the first time ever we are having to slightly raise our prices for 2019 to cover ever increasing costs so for 10 to 16 yrs it will be £2. a session and 17+ its £3 a session You will have an opportunity to buy a weekly ticket only on a monday £4.50 for 10 to 16 yrs and £7 for 17+ this is an incentive for you to pay less by training more often

This January will be 7th year Anniversary of Holyhead ABC we have come a long way from taking over a derelict building in vicarage lane and creating a Boxing club that caters for all ages there have been many highs and lows but its been worth it teaching respect and discipline to your kids a big thank you to all the coaches over the years past and present that have contributed their time and effort to creating a club that is respected throughout North Wales Happy New Year to all our members

No training monday 31st dec back Wednesday 2nd january we will be entering some of our boxers for welsh championships and we have a few box cups to compete in also we hope to have our own show in Holyhead so if you want to be considered then we start on wednesday we wont be entering anyone who has not had at least six weeks of continuous training. We would like to wish all our members a Happy New Year

Well done to Luke McGivern on his unanimous decision win tonight in Welshpool this was his Debut for our club boxed his heart out and caught his opponent with some crunching right hands was awarded his winners trophy by Richie Woodhall we did have 3 lads on the bill tonight but a mix up with ages meant that Austin Murphy and Ben Williams we're unable to box they will get their chance on other shows great to see some good new blood coming through the club

Just a reminder we are holding a technical session at 3 pm today would like to see as many as posible turn up

Great session again tonight it was great to see so many turn up for sparring and many for the first time it takes lots of courage just to get in that ring regardless of how well you perform give yourselves a pat on the back seen loads of positives from everyone also a big welcome to experienced Gar jenks who is a great addition to our coaching team
