Went up for a family get together. Ten of us were seated in a great spot as young children were present. Everyone had the two courses and choice of drink. Wasn’t an empty plate, haddock was out of this world.

Went on a busy Saturday night, was able to book last minute which was appreciated. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and full of enthusiasm, was lovely to see. Their menu is sophisticated but not pretentious, and the food was terrific.

Went for my birthday bottomless brunch and can say I absolutely adore this place..food was fabulous..just nice to soak up the endless glass refill of prosecco..Caroline r server was very attentive and at the end we decided to have a Pina colada and to my surprise I was given it as a birthday drink.. atmosphere was cool I loved everything about it down to the toilet roll dispenser in the loo..�well I never seen one like it before and you will all have to go to see what I'm talking about..� enjoy..�

Just home from a beautiful meal in Horatios. Food was amazing and faultless I had the Daube of Beef and my husband had the Beef wellington. Can’t recommend enough. Excellent service from a lovely and friendly waitress (I think her name was Holly) can’t wait to come back

It was my husbands first time at Horatio Todds and as he only drinks Bass or Smithwicks, the waitress very kindly brought over 2 amounts of similar ale as a taster. The waitress was superb, very well mannered and very knowledgable about the menu and wines etc. I have no doubt she is well suited in her position and I made a point of letting the manager know this. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning.

Had lunch with a friend and my children a few weeks ago and I was very impressed with the kids menu, it showed a bit of thought had went into the planning of it and the variety on offer, including healthy option was impressive. On this occasion the mini burgers went down a treat and the fact there was a toy box was an extra bonus. I would highly recommend their kids offering to anyone and have done since my visit. Emma and the staff were attentive, helpful and professional. We will definately be back!

So velvety and fulfilling! My boyfriend the fresh haddock so crispy outside and buttery soft inside! I also ordered the Aviaton gin cocktail, smooth and perfect to the last detail Finally our waitress Holly was so helpful and caring! Friends booked the early 5.30pm sitting for 20 people for an Xmas night out. We had pre ordered from the lovely Xmas set menu and from the moment we arrived the evening was super. The waitresses were fantastic and the service was great from start to finish with drinks and food. Everyone loved their meals-all 3 courses were lovely! Very reasonable price too. Highly recommend

I had Mussels in Red Curry Sauce and then a burger and both dishes were delightful. My Wife had Beef Bourginon, which was superb and we just had to go for desserts, which didn't disappoint at all.



With a glass of wine,not bottle of beer included, this is some of the best food that I have eaten in any restaurant and I can't recommend Horatio Todd's highly enough!

Always great food never disappointed. Service excellent. Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. Cocktails lovely too. A definite must dine for anyone.

Wasn't overly busy for a Sat night. Table we sat down at was filthy so went to the bar to order our drinks and asked for table to be cleaned. Was handed a large piece of blue paper and was told to clean it my self as staff where to busy. Ordered two expensive gin and tonics which were just poured into a small what I would call a juice glass not the normal big goblets that gin is normally served in extremely disappointing to say the least. Had that one drink and left no desire to stay as the pub in general was cold and lacked atmosphere.

Just a thought when you have a band setting up please be mindful when you have patrons eating it is polite and mannerly to respect their space and not shove armchairs virtually into their food!!!�

Disappointing Christmas Dinner. Starter was nice, Turkey & Ham dinner was warm certainly nowhere near hot & profiteroles frozen..... although these were replaced once the waitress was informed. Could see through it if restaurant had been busy but as we were the only table I’m afraid there’s no excuse. Won’t be rushing back HTs �

I was travelled from Glasgow and was recommended highly to come here. We dined in the restaurant which was amazing and couldn’t ask for better food and service. We then moved into the bar to socialise and meet another friend. Can I say that your bar staff last night must wake early in the morning to practice such poor customer service because surely that can’t come natural in such a role. Chat amongst themselves and felt like I was putting them out when asking for a round of drinks. Never saw a smile or a thank you. Every drink we had left the empty glasses piling up in front of us until we left. Not even remotely busy. Won’t be back and sadly can’t recommend due to bar but shame as the restaurant was amazing.

Great vegetarian/vegan menu, lots to choose from which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately when the food arrived it was poor to say the least. Chips uncooked and the halloumi and mushroom burger was the worst I've ever had. Massive portobello mushroom which was thick with grease and a small string of halloumi. The burger was so bad that I couldn't even eat half of it, didn't touch the chips other than to know they were uncooked. Left feeling hungry, a waste of time and money. We won't be back.

I was travelled from Glasgow and was recommended highly to come here. We dined in the restaurant which was amazing and couldn’t ask for better food and service. We then moved into the bar to socialise and meet another friend. Can I say that your bar staff last night must wake early in the morning to practice such poor customer service because surely that can’t come natural in such a role. Chat amongst themselves and felt like I was putting them out when asking for a round of drinks. Never saw a smile or a thank you. Every drink we had left the empty glasses piling up in front of us until we left. Not even remotely busy. Won’t be back and sadly can’t recommend due to bar but shame as the restaurant was amazing.

Great vegetarian/vegan menu, lots to choose from which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately when the food arrived it was poor to say the least. Chips uncooked and the halloumi and mushroom burger was the worst I've ever had. Massive portobello mushroom which was thick with grease and a small string of halloumi. The burger was so bad that I couldn't even eat half of it, didn't touch the chips other than to know they were uncooked. Left feeling hungry, a waste of time and money. We won't be back.

Went up for a family get together. Ten of us were seated in a great spot as young children were present. Everyone had the two courses and choice of drink. Wasn’t an empty plate, haddock was out of this world.

Went on a busy Saturday night, was able to book last minute which was appreciated. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and full of enthusiasm, was lovely to see. Their menu is sophisticated but not pretentious, and the food was terrific.

Went for my birthday bottomless brunch and can say I absolutely adore this place..food was fabulous..just nice to soak up the endless glass refill of prosecco..Caroline r server was very attentive and at the end we decided to have a Pina colada and to my surprise I was given it as a birthday drink.. atmosphere was cool I loved everything about it down to the toilet roll dispenser in the loo..�well I never seen one like it before and you will all have to go to see what I'm talking about..� enjoy..�

Thank you so much for a excellent Christmas dinner evening last night from Jubilee Vets. Food was amazing. Staff were great and catered for us all evening. Music was great too! ���

Just home from a beautiful meal in Horatios. Food was amazing and faultless I had the Daube of Beef and my husband had the Beef wellington. Can’t recommend enough. Excellent service from a lovely and friendly waitress (I think her name was Holly) can’t wait to come back

It was my husbands first time at Horatio Todds and as he only drinks Bass or Smithwicks, the waitress very kindly brought over 2 amounts of similar ale as a taster. The waitress was superb, very well mannered and very knowledgable about the menu and wines etc. I have no doubt she is well suited in her position and I made a point of letting the manager know this. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning.

Had lunch with a friend and my children a few weeks ago and I was very impressed with the kids menu, it showed a bit of thought had went into the planning of it and the variety on offer, including healthy option was impressive. On this occasion the mini burgers went down a treat and the fact there was a toy box was an extra bonus. I would highly recommend their kids offering to anyone and have done since my visit. Emma and the staff were attentive, helpful and professional. We will definately be back!

Had a gorgeous meal in Horatio Todd's last nite. Waitress Fionulla was very attentive even though the restaurant was busy. I had a few cocktails later in the bar. Amazing. Will be back soon.

From TripAdvisor 16/6/18:'I and my boyfriend visited Horatio Todd's bar and fell in love with it! I tried the Sri Lankin monkfish and coconut curry, coriander rice and flatbreads. So velvety and fulfilling! My boyfriend the fresh haddock so crispy outside and buttery soft inside! I also ordered the Aviaton gin cocktail, smooth and perfect to the last detail Finally our waitress Holly was so helpful and caring! Love the glass cases with the old medicine bottles (since it was a pharmacist ages ago) and the crowd vibe was perfect. We definitely will be back! Friends booked the early 5.30pm sitting for 20 people for an Xmas night out. We had pre ordered from the lovely Xmas set menu and from the moment we arrived the evening was super. The waitresses were fantastic and the service was great from start to finish with drinks and food. Everyone loved their meals-all 3 courses were lovely! Very reasonable price too. Highly recommend

Food was beautiful and staff were excellent. The waitress who took our order was very knowledgeable when it came to vegan and vegetarian dishes. Definatley recommend coming here.

Before attending a concert across the road, we went for a meal first. We'd never been here before and man what a find! We opted for the £15.95 2 course, or £18.95 3 course menu, which had a stack of interesting dishes, making a choice difficult.



I had Mussels in Red Curry Sauce and then a burger and both dishes were delightful. My Wife had Beef Bourginon, which was superb and we just had to go for desserts, which didn't disappoint at all.



With a glass of wine,not bottle of beer included, this is some of the best food that I have eaten in any restaurant and I can't recommend Horatio Todd's highly enough!

Always great food never disappointed. Service excellent. Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. Cocktails lovely too. A definite must dine for anyone.

Wasn't overly busy for a Sat night. Table we sat down at was filthy so went to the bar to order our drinks and asked for table to be cleaned. Was handed a large piece of blue paper and was told to clean it my self as staff where to busy. Ordered two expensive gin and tonics which were just poured into a small what I would call a juice glass not the normal big goblets that gin is normally served in extremely disappointing to say the least. Had that one drink and left no desire to stay as the pub in general was cold and lacked atmosphere.

Just a thought when you have a band setting up please be mindful when you have patrons eating it is polite and mannerly to respect their space and not shove armchairs virtually into their food!!!�

Disappointing Christmas Dinner. Starter was nice, Turkey & Ham dinner was warm certainly nowhere near hot & profiteroles frozen..... although these were replaced once the waitress was informed. Could see through it if restaurant had been busy but as we were the only table I’m afraid there’s no excuse. Won’t be rushing back HTs �
