Our aim is to bring the very best of the touring comedy talent to our city on the first Friday of every month.

For too long Newry, South Down, and South Armagh have been bypassed by the top touring comics. Iúr Live! promises to change the poor circumstance in which our local comedy fans finds themselves by ensuring that television’s leading stand-ups come to our area to perform their critically acclaimed shows.

Iúr Live! is thinking big and as part of our Autumn season we will showcase four comedians whose achievements include staring on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Road Show, Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Per
formance, Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks, and Just for Laughs. Comedians who have broken box office records at both Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival and Kilkenny’s Cat Laughs Festival, while continuing to be mainstays in some of the Country’s leading sitcoms.

With a capacity of only 150 and Courtney’s fully licensed bar on call, Sean Hollywood Arts Centre will provide the perfect platform to watch the finest comics at the peak of their powers in Newry’s most intimate venue.
