The Institute of Contemporary Music is Belfast's premiere music school. We offer professional tuition in the instrument of your choice. Whether you're an absolute beginner, or a veteran player, we have the teachers and resources to bring your playing to the next level.

We offer one-to-one tuition for guitar, bass, piano, vocals, drums, and more. Our staff of tutors are all highly qualified with various teaching diplomas, degrees and considerable teaching and gigging experience.

We teach rock, pop, metal, blues, jazz, R& B, soul, folk, funk, classical, country and many more styles. We also run band workshops and seminars on a regular basis, we have a large rehearsal / performance space which can be hired, and can now also offer a recording service for bands and artists.

We charge £16 per half hour one-to-one lesson (other group and student rates are available). Daytime rates are currently £10 per lesson between 1. 00 and 3. 00pm

We also offer a demo recording service at £20 per hour (minimum 3 hour booking).
