One of our customers has got in touch with this shocking footage of a crash they were in on the motorway. Whilst unfortunately she herself was injured, her five year old son who was sitting rear-facing in his Britax 2-Way Elite came out unharmed!
THIS is why car seat safety is so important, and why we endlessly promote extended rear-facing!
They were hit twice by the HGV, once by a car and then again by the central barriers, and thankfully the child car seat done an amazing j...ob of protecting this little boy. Scary to watch but amazing to see what the right car seat can do.

We’re so pleased with our new car seat for our little boy! The advice and professionalism goes way above any other high street retailer we had been to look around before. I can’t recommend them more highly.

Went to In Car Safety Centre in their new Belfast premises today (off Apollo Road, Boucher). Simon was his usual, helpful self. Moved my Besafe izi kid x2 (bought from them around this time last year) from family car into second car and fitted brand new Axkid Minikid to family car.

Would really recommend a visit if you are in the market for a new car seat. This is my second purchase from them. They really know their car seat safety and have such good knowledge of seats and how best to fit into your car for you.

We visited today with the age old 3 seats across the back of the car problem! We knew we wanted an erf for our youngest and hoped we could make it work in our Passat. We couldn’t fault the service and knowledge from the staff. So welcoming personable and happy to help us figure out the best for our family. No hard sell or making us feel like we were risking our kids safety like I have felt in other places. Better still we were encouraged to keep the arrangement we had for a while longer until our two youngest grow a bit more. Thank you so much for all your help we will be back when it’s time to change the seats.

We purchased a new group 2/3 car seat with Mandy at In car safety centre Belfast, this is the second seat we have bought here and really could recommend the place highly enough, so knowledgable and helpful. Our wee man loves getting into his "big boy seat". It really is perfect for him and we can't thank Mandy and team enough, they took us through all the options, no hassle, could try the seats in the shop and when we picked one. It is an important purchase as is used daily and our child's safety is priority at all times. They fitted it for us and gave a run through of what to do as he grows bigger and what we need to do. Just a great experience that I recommend to anyone looking for a seat for their child(ren).

We bought a Recaro Zero.1 i-Size in Performance Black from the Belfast store on Friday. The store has an impressive range of car seats and the staff were really knowledgeable on the suitability and safety of them all. The store also had a great play area so my toddler was occupied while my husband and I shopped - the staff were also really great with him throughout. Ample parking outside meant fitting the new seat was simple. The lovely staff even advised us on how to properly fit our existing car seat (Joie Stages) in our second car as we were worried we were doing it incorrectly. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Visited today for some advice regarding 3 seats in the back of a skoda superb. (Group 0, 1, 2) With great success thanks to the amazing staff.

Ladies knew their stuff (seemed highly trained) and were able to advise with some different options.

I can now relax knowing I don’t have to spend £1500 on a Multimac or look at different cars.

Very glad we went here for our car seat - knowledgable, friendly and not pushy at all. If you can, try to go here rather than taking your chances in shops where the staff aren’t as familiar with the products or just want sales for commission.

Today clodagh went got her new car seat from the amazing simon and team at in car safety, this shop caters for all children and works closely with OT(if you have any) to tailer make a seat for a childs needs,they dont just say buy this or that it is always on what suits childs safety and explaining this.. she now has her amazing car seat with few extra additions for her but also if any extra is needed or removed we can take back and get it altered �

Our almost 6 year old has just outgrown his Joie Stages and we wanted to continue ERF him and our 4 & 2 year olds. We made an appointment, then showed up half an hour early but were still welcomed. We were talked through our options at length (I had a LOT of questions!). The seat was fitted and we were given an in-depth demonstration of how the seat is fitted and used. So thankful, particularly to Lee who was extremely patient and very lovely, especially making us confident that aftercare would be abundant if necessary. Thank you again �

Just purchased two car seats from In Car Safety Centre, Belfast. Faced with the challenge of fitting 3 car seats across, I struggled to find a workable solution. Thanks to In Car Safety Centre, we now have exactly what we need, and at a reasonable price. A special mention for Mandy who relished the challenge and delivered a great result! If you're looking for a car seat for your wee one, this is the place to go!

We bought a second, group 1 seat for our daughter today. The seat price was the same as anywhere else, I believe its normal in this type of business, however, whats much more important is that the guys there really know A LOT about car seats and safety and their advice is super valuable as at the end of the day, its our child's safety!

P.S. We went to other store before, that has a "care" in the name, but they not only didn't care, but were unable to answer even basic questions about the seats they're selling.

I visited recently to purchase an extended rear facing car seat for my little girl. The staff were so knowledgeable and happy to answer any of my questions. We tried several seats in the car before finding one that fitted well and that my little girl was happy with. Excellent service and I would highly recommend.

Honestly so happy with the service and help Caitlin give me yesterday! Came into the store with an idea of what car seat I wanted but when we fitted it and turned out it was totally unsuitable, she went threw each car seat until we found the perfect one. Plenty of choice and didn’t feel rushed to pick at all, would recommend to anyone! �

Had a bit of a dilemma trying to think of best car seat for our 2.5 yr who we needed to move out of our britax dual fix for her baby brother to use. We wanted to keep her harnessed but as she is high on percentiles many seats don't harness above 18kg! The lovely Simon helped us work through available choices and fitted the seat to ensure a secure fit. Fantastic service

Called in to in car safety centre today just of the Boucher road I have a 4 year old son with special needs and was looking something to stop him from getting out of his seat have to say the staff was extremely helpful and give me a lot of advice and was able to get me clips to stop him getting out would definitely recommend to anyone
