Inishowen 100 - 20 August 2017
100 mile Cycle of the Inishowen Peninsula, Co. Donegal. Taking in some the most stunning and challenging train in Ireland.

Voted one of the top scenic routes in Ireland by the Irish Independent, the “Inishowen 100” is a 100 mile route that meanders around Inishowen’s breathtaking coastline taking in stunning panoramic views of Lough Swilly, the Atlantic and Lough Foyle. It takes in the climbs of Mamore Gap, Knockamany Bens overlooking Five Finger Strand, the climb of Kinnego Bay and descent into Greencastle.

The 100 mile route is well signposted and follows the coast around the very scenic Inishowen peninsula. This is not an easy event and should only be attempted by cyclists who have trained for this type of distance.

An easier 60 mile event is also available with the same start and finish locations.

The entry fee for both events is £25 /€30 and includes lunch, T-shirt, shower facilities, free car parking and certificates for all finishers who registered by 31 July 2017.

After this date the availability of certificates cannot be guaranteed and the entrance fee is increased to £30 /€35. . . . so please enter early.

A day licence costing £2 /€2 is required by riders not holding a current Cycling Ireland, NICF or CTC licence. A licence can be purchased when signing in for the event at the Templemore Sports Complex.

The proceeds of this event are donated to local charities each year.
