Ink Wing is an inspiring and creative service that embraces creative and quality literacy projects through exciting participant-centred ideas and hands-on projects. It currently provides, and consists of, two strands - 1) Quality Creative Writing projects in schools and 2) 'Summer Fun' creative projects and workshops.

Ink Wing Academy was established in 2015 by a highly experienced teacher of 14yrs, Michelle Young. During her successful teaching career, she accomplished a variety additional professional roles including experienced senior school leader and writing moderator. She now works as a freelance Creative Writing Facilitator, drawing on years of experience as an outstanding classteacher.

At Ink Wing Academy, projects include plenty of discussion, creative, visual and multisensory learning, role play and multi-media projects.
Quality and standards of writing can also be raised through tailor-made school projects, in relation to planning, vocabulary choices, sentence structures, organisation, connective phrases, audience & effect, cohesive devises and editing. A range of writing genres - fiction, non-fiction and poetry - are on offer. Michelle offers effective and quality facilitation as well as a warm approach.
