About Innotech Centre
Northern Ireland’s first inter-disciplinary business and mentoring support centre, InnoTech provides expertise, the latest technology and R& D support to enable employers capitalise on their ideas and grow their businesses further.
Innotech Centre Description
InnoTech is an exciting venture by South West College. Our aim is to nurture and grow innovation and technology through four key concepts:
We are creating partnerships with other colleges, businesses and organisations outside Northern Ireland that have adopted innovation and believe in the Art of the Possible.
We are helping local business embrace innovation through high grade knowledge exchange and technology development to build an all- pervasive Thinking, Creating and Doing attitude.
We are providing training and technical mentoring to help businesses achieve an advanced level in adopting and embracing innovation and dealing with the inevitable challenges. Are You ready to embrace the challenge?
In a dynamic and exciting way we are promoting a culture of innovation and adventure in schools to promote the STEM subjects. This innovation generation is critical – we are preparing young people for opportunities that do not yet exist and cannot be clearly defined. The Art of the Possible.
Innovation stimulates and disrupts. It leads to breakthroughs and new ideas, frustration and failure. Can you handle it?
Is your organisation flexible and forward looking. Can you deal with whatever innovation and technology throws at you?
The InnoTech Centre is financed by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) through its Innovation Fund Employer Support Programme.

Quinn Building Supplies in partnership with SWC are seeking to recruit a Graduate Production Detailer/Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate in Architectural Technology, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar. The KTP project involves the development of a modular timber frame solution to be built off-site, incorporating low energy housing design and factory automation. The role will involve working closely with... academics from South West College to embed architectural and product design, development, validation and manufacture skills and knowledge. There is excellent potential for long-term employment in a commercially important sector, with £4k dedicated training budget tailored towards your personal development.
