About Inns Cross Market
A Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of every month, 10am-2pm, promoting local, seasonal & artisan food producers.
Inns Cross Market Description
Inns Market promotes local, seasonal and artisan food producers in Newtownbreda, Belfast.
The market is on the FIRST Saturday of each month, trading from 10am-2pm, with 2 markets in December on 2nd and 16th.
We pride ourselves on being an authentic farmers' market supporting local primary and artisan producers. All our producers pride themselves on growing their own ingredients and / or sourcing from quality local producers.
Inns Market is a great place to start buying your food locally and getting to know local producers in a friendly environment.

A piece of this crumbly melt-in-your-mouth real butter fudge would go down very nicely just now! 😋
From the award-winning Jack's Fudge it will be on our must-have list for the next Inns Market on Sat 6th April, 10am-2pm.
The importance of grass-fed farming is evident.
We are proud that all our meat farmers at Inns Market have a grass-fed ethos. They wouldn’t be let in if they weren’t! 😉

Did you know that you can buy premium cuts of meat direct from the farmer at Inns Market on the first Saturday of every month? You can’t get a shorter food chain than that.
One of those farming families is Castlescreen Farm - wee cows, BIG BEEF. Damien & Jackie rear grass-fed Dexter beef at their farm in Downpatrick, Co Down.
You can chat to them to and buy their dexter beef burgers, sausages, veg roll, steaks and roasts directly from them at our next market on Saturday 6th April, 10am-2pm.
☘️ Calling all London friends and friends of friends...
Borough Market is open today especially for St Patrick’s Day with a particular Northern Irish flavour . . . Many of our local food and drinks producers are there and you can try and buy their products, with cookery demonstrations from NI’s very own celebrity chef, the inimitable Paula McIntyre, MBE.
Family fun activities too!
... Try to get along - we wish we were there! If you can’t make it today - they’ll be there next week too.
Happy St Patrick’s Day ☘️

🥕 The humble carrot. 🥕
Only not so humble when you buy freshly harvested direct from Cherryvalley Farm at Inns Market on the first Saturday of every month.
Experience tells us, when they are bought so fresh they keep for a couple of weeks and will still taste far superior to any you will buy in the supermarket well into the second week.
... We know as we tend to get over excited at the beauty of a bunch of freshly picked veg and end up buying tons to keep a house of veg-loving creatures very happy. 😄
It’s the little things that keep us happy. Like shopping at our local farmers’ market on the first Saturday of each month.
We are back on 6th April, 10am-2pm.

We are back for our monthly farmers' market on Saturday 6th April, 10am-2pm.
We've had a great start to the year so thank you all! Your support is what keeps our market vibrant and that is how our producers and local food scene thrive.
Come along again for your monthly stock-up on your favourite fresh, local, seasonal and artisan foods direct from the producer. Your regular producers will be back and there are a few familiar faces returning with their superb produce. We als...o have select non-food traders who fit the Inns Market ethos of artisan, 'local in-so-far as possible', and of course they must fit the criteria of being 'sound and full of craic'!
If you haven't been before, we can promise you a warm welcome and an hour or so of friendly, relaxed banter as you browse the circa 20 stalls of: - speciality meat (dexter, buffalo, small-batch cured bacon and handmade sausages, burgers, biltong and black pudding), - artisan Irish cheeses, - artisan breads, - big tin and sourdough, - wheaten breads, - cakes (vegan too) - preserves, chutneys and pickles, - fermented goods such as kimchi and sauerkraut, - oils - natural, organic handmade skincare - plastic-free alternatives for everyday home and self-care essentials
☕️ You can even sip on your Saturday coffee fix, take a pew and have a chat. There are breakfast baps and speciality burgers made to order from Buchanan's Farm Shop, black pudding baps from SculleryMade and something new from FoodPath street food to tempt and keep the hunger pangs at bay! 🍔
📍 FIND US in the rear car park of the Inns Cross shops on the Saintfield Road, directly behind Goodness Rocks and Domino's Pizza. Turn into School Road from the lights at Saintfield Road, and take an immediate left. You'll find us under the old forecourt canopy.
🚗 PARKING is free in the car park and there is plenty of on-street parking in the surrounding streets.
👧 The market is child-friendly. 👦
🐕 Friendly dogs welcome on leads.
Entry is free.

Pancake Tuesday. 🥞
How are you having yours? 🍋🍓🥓🍳
We thought we'd share a recipe, but they are easily got and it seems most households have their Pancake Tuesday traditions.
... So instead we thought we'd ask you - what is your favourite way of serving your pancakes? Are you a sweet or savoury crepe type or a fluffy pancake type?
Whatever you are, we hope you are keeping it local with only the best ingredients.🥚
Let us know!
