IT3Sixty is a sectoral initiative representing the IT industry in Northern Ireland. An online portal has been developed with the support of Invest NI and IT employers. Our objective is to increase the talent pool of new IT professionals in Northern Ireland. We would like to attract Europe's best and brightest talent here to help sustain the current boom in the technology sector. With growth of the sector almost doubling in the past five years, there is a vital need for skilled workers to fill key positions. That's why we have embarked on a programme of activity to reach outside the region and have created this portal to not only advertise vacancies but also to serve as a great advertisement for the region. In the longer term, we are committed to: - Encouraging local students to take up IT studies in order to create a sustainable IT employment model for the future. - Upskilling the existing workforce with technical skills- Signposting individuals to pathways to undertake learning in IT- Supporting teachers with employer endorsed learning materials- Brokering relationships between industry and academiaFor more information please see: www.
