My hubby and son are away on an adventure (Cork and Galway for three days) before his sabbatical ends next Thursday! Three months off... it’s going to hit me hard never mind him as I’ve just been getting up and going to work and not having to wash, dress, feed and drop kids off! This morning I thought the girls would have a nice long lie in but my alarm went off at 7:25am with my daughter ready to fight the day! Ah well, lucky she’s cute XO

These words by @tomfletcher are so true! _____________________________Thankfully six years in I can slow down and don’t have to have complete mum guilt every single day - but being self employed takes long hours, dedication and keeping your eye on the ball all the time 😊... _____________________________ Working dad! This is what 10:45pm on a Sunday night looks like for me. Now, I know my job isn’t really a “job” and I’m totally the luckiest dude alive to be able to call what I do for fun a career but surrounding the awesomeness it still takes commitment, focus, dedication, sleepless nights, stress, tears, frustration, and 100% of everything I’ve got. I hate giving advice and I’m always asked for it, the truth is I don’t consider myself to be particularly great at any of the things I do (quite the opposite!), there are plenty of people out there more talented and skilled than me...but for every 1 song someone else writes, I’ll write 10. When an author writes 1000 words a day I’ll write 5000, they work until 10pm, I’ll work until 5am...it’s all about perseverance and persistence. My little Max here needed to sleep and had been held by family all day, so we’re giving him a break from being held. It’s a chance for my wife to shower and me to “work”. Obviously, the second he’s ready to be picked up I will be right there for those cuddles...and yes, I’m happy to be distracted by him every 10 seconds to stare at him when he inevitably does something cute, but between those moments, when I might put my feet up and watch tv, that’s time to be productive!

Visited this shop today with my daughter. Dresses were all stunning. My daughter had found her dress online and this shop was the only place in Northern Ireland to stock it. She tried it on and immediately fell in love with it.

Visited the store this afternoon and have come home a very happy bride to be having found the perfect dress for my big day! Kate was fantastic and couldn’t have done enough! Excellent collection available in the most beautiful setting! The first and only bridal boutique I needed to visit �

The best wee bridal boutique ever!!! Loved this wee quirky, cute, romantic place and felt so so comfortable with Kate, she just makes you feel so so special! My dress was amazing and made me feel like such a princess, thank you for opening up just when I got engaged, the perfect place for me to get my dress!! xx

Such a relaxed and positive experience from the start. Nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were fantastic to deal with. Cant recommend this bridal boutique highly enough!

My daughter and I contacted Kate from Ivory and pearl regarding a particular wedding dress. We have been overwhelmed by her compassion, kindness and thorough professionalism. We live in Birmingham so all correspondence has been via email and we couldn't have experienced a better service, excellent business. The dress arrived perfectly and without any hassle. All you Belfast brides should use this amazing bridal shop you won't be disappointed. Kate also sticks some designers only 2 other shops in UK stock so she has quality exquisite gowns.

Kate and her team are amazing and I want to thank them for all their help in finding me my perfect dress! I couldn't have asked for a better day and it definitely helped to make it for me. I visited Kate at love wedding studio when ivory and pearl had some dresses on show. I managed picked up a fab dress for my evening dress. It was perfect and she was so helpful in getting alterations, suggestions to ensure it looked perfect on the day ! I would recommend a trip to any bride as she has so many fab and different pieces. Thanks so much Kate !

I visited Ivory & Pearl in January at a sample sale & from the get go our experience was absolutely lovely we came away buzzing!

They are so friendly & helpful, I got all 4 of my bridesmaids dresses & my own their & we all looked so beautiful & classy last Saturday!

Everyone that was with me also all commented on how nice Kate was throughout the appointment and the friendly atmosphere from her colleague aswell. I love how unique some of the dresses are and was not put under any pressure whatsoever. Can't wait to go back for a dress fitting! Thank you Kate.

It really is a charming place and the appointment was so effortless and enjoyable it made falling in love with the dress an experience I won't forget! It is the most beautiful garment I have ever seen & had the pleasure of wearing. I also purchased my veil at Ivory & Pearl & it really was perfect.



I'd recommend any bride to be visiting the store. I've never seen a more beautiful shop & the selection of gowns will blow you away.

Girls, you need to make an appointment with this girl if your looking for your dress. She has a fantastic selection of dresses from unique to vintage inspired to classic. She’s one of the nicest girls you will meet and something which is very important when making a purchase like your wedding dress. The service was out of this world and her recommended dressmaker for alterations Sarah is equally as fantastic. Both these women were a pleasure to work with and very good at their jobs.

From my first appointment here I felt at ease with Kate, she was so helpful in picking out my wedding dress! This is the most beautiful boutique I went to in NI with the most gorgeous range of dress.
