DID YOU KNOW OUR QUALITY POTATOES ARE GREAT FOR MAKING OVEN CHIPS WITH A CHIP SHOP LIKE FINISH 🍟
Only if you follow JDS tips below:
... 1. Use our in season Maris Piper potatoes
2. Cut our potatoes to a quarter of an inch thick. (If they're too thin then they'll burn on the outside before they're cooked on the inside)
3. Pat them down to remove any excess water and sprinkle each potato with a tablespoon of cornstarch (key ingredient).
4. Evenly coat each potato with one or two tablespoons of olive oil.
5. Spread them evenly on the oven tray with no overlapping.
6. The ideal temperature for your oven chip to achieve chip shop quality is 230 degrees celsius.
7. Cook them for between 20-25 minutes and make sure an flip them halfway through.
