To all Academy parents. Please come and support this amazing musical at the Grand Opera House. Directed by our Principal James Huish and also starring head teacher Kelly Brown.

We are also delighted to announce our second summer project “Little Shop Of Horrors” for our juniors. Aged 10-16. We decided the Juniors deserved a big show this year with a live band and 2 full scale performances.
ALSO OPEN TO NON ACADEMY STUDENTS
The show will be directed by our Principal James Huish an choreographed by Clare Donnelly.
... The show will take place at Theatre At The Mill. With 2 performances on July 26th and 27th. Auditions will be held on April 13th with recalls on April 14th.
The project will run from the 11th to 27th Of July.

The Broadway and West End hit show “CHICAGO”. Directed by James Huish.
****We have a very special guest choreographer. Mr Phil LaDuca**** The Broadway legend and Fosse dancer himself. He will be here from LA to help create this masterpiece. He will he assisted by Sarah Johnston and Musical Direction by Andrew Robinson.
Open to ages 16-25(must have completed GCSEs at time of rehearsal date).
The project will run from August 5-24 and will culminate in 5 full scale performances at The Theatre At The Mill.

We are so proud to announce that the JH Academy of Theatre Arts has now become an “Official RSL Exam Centre”
We will be delivering grades and Diploma qualifications to all of our students as part of our Academy programme curriculum in singing, dancing and acting (performance) Grades. This programme will contribute UCAS points. (Once a certain grade level has been achieved). We will now be delivering this training every week as part of our ongoing training programme. No need f...or additional classes to achieve grades.

Wonderful performance by the talented young people at JH Academy last Friday night. This group is excellent; we are so impressed by the professionalism and high standard of teaching of James' team, and their desire and commitment to helping the students of all ages achieve their potential. A friendly, honest group where camaraderie is encouraged and egos are left at the door.

Went to the theatre mill Friday 19th January 2018 to watch the james huish academy! Incredible show of young talent from north & south of Ireland all the future of the west end � in one cast . The singing , dancing and acting was top notch the production was top notch James your humble passion shone right through you and your students ! Well done looking forward to August ����

We visited the Musical Theatre Delight production at Theatre at the Mill on Friday night to watch our granddaughter preform.

Have to say we were blown away by quality of the whole show.

It was obvious from the start that the children were enjoying the whole experiance. It was Yasmines first ever appearance on stage in front of a cspasity audience and she was clearly enjoying herself.

This is a super academy producing and teaching a great range of skills. Looking forward to seeing the next production.

My son Danny loves this school and has been really developing his performing abilities since he started. He got a main part in the school play and picked up the schools Performing Arts Award! Highly recommend James and his team!

My daughter Marin has been going to the Academy for three weeks and she loves it. Dedicated, happy and experienced staff provide all round musical theatre tuition including all dance disciplines. Marin feels valued and excited to learn. I cannot recommend James and his team highly enough. The future is bright!
