The Japan Karate Association is the most authoritative and largest karate organisation in the world. 'The Keeper of Karate's Highest Tradition'. Bushido Shotokan Karate Belfast and all its students are affiliated directly to JKA HQ in Tokyo through JKA Ireland, under the instruction of Sensei Noel Casey 7th Dan JKA WF who ensures the ethos of JKA style training is upheld through regular trips to train in Tokyo, and subsequent local courses at all JKA Ireland locations. . Bushido Shotokan Karate Belfast offersTraditional Shotokan Karate Classes to develop speed, flexibility, fitness, strength, confidence and sporting opportunities in the form of access to competition whether local, national or international. Instructor Stephen Bell 2nd Dan JKA WF competes at all 3 levels, and has represented JKA Ireland twice at the JKA WF European Championships; Dublin 2016 and Sittard Netherlands 2017. He has most recently competed at the 14th Funakoshi Gichin Cup World Championships 2017 in Limerick, hosted by JKA Ireland. Come and get involved, and learn in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Adults and kids welcome, of any ability.
First 2 classes free, normal cost £4 Adult / £3 Kids under 16.
