What is RT 24 ?
... The RT 24 programmes uses a resistance that is unique and specific to the users training age and capabilities whether this be Body Weight, light resistance or heavy resistance loads. The volume of training in an RT 24 class is high, and when you combine high volume resistance training along with the principles of HIIT training you can start to see how RT 24 is built for achieving its results. Each class is designed to be no longer than 24 minutes but within this time frame you will be expected to perform to your maximum effort

This is one of the best Leisure Centres in the area. The swimming pools are great, the health suite is better than any in the local area, the gym equipment is good and the staff are helpful, informed and friendly! I really enjoy the spin groups and body pump.

User

The staff are extra friendly and always make an effort to chat when I walk through the doors with my kids. The pool and changing area are always clean and warm. Highly recommend here.

User

One of the friendliest, cleanest and stress free leisure centres in N.Ireland. Always a pleasure, credit where credit is due!! #Circuit2004

User

Lovely friendly centre with great facilities and a soft play centre.

User

I use the gym, health suite and pool facilities a number of times per week and cannot fault the staff or cleanliness of the centre as a whole. However, Recently the availability of the pool for anyone who solely wants to swim lengths at their leisure has become ridiculous. On one occasion last week the pool was limited to one lane for the public and again last night the pool was limited to two lanes for public use, and as there were a number of families with small children it made it impossible to actually swim, in addition to this there was lifeguard training in the public area which took up a lane of its own.

I feel and I am sure others will agree that a lane exclusively for swimming for the public should be available at all times except when the pool is fully closed for swimming club etc. I would rather know when I will be able to swim than get changed and go in only to find that it was a waste of time.

User

I have just finished a course of improver 1-1 swimming lessons with Richard Timms and cannot rate him high enough! I wouldn't go out of my own depth in the water and now I've no fear at all and my technique has greatly improved. Anyone wishing to learn to swim or brush up on their technique I would highly recommend him. It has definitely been the best thing I've done!

User

Great to get back to the gym today. Thanks to the fabulous Brenda, Carol and Ryan at the cardiac rehab class

User

Great place for events, swimming and everything sports related.

User

Brilliant staff and swimming teachers pools are warm and so are changing areas..

User

Before I started lessons I was petrified of putting my face under water & would never of dreamt of going by my own depth, but by the end of the first lesson I had my face under water & 3 weeks later I went by my own depth & even managed to swim 50 meters! I could never have done it without the amazing instructor!!

User

A great leisure centre, well run and with great facilties

User

1st class clean facilities. Enjoying the gym. Esp the classes which have brought me out of my comfort zone. (In a good way) great encouragement from instructors and also other gym users. A real friendly bunch of people.

User

The pool is rarely ever open at sensible times to the general public which is so disappointing . I feel Coleraine leisure centre is much better and also cheaper

User

Took my two small children to the indoor soft play area and it was awful. They had no air ventilation what so ever. The temperature was uncomfortable for an adult and more so for the children. We stayed no more than 20mins and I wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer. The play area was very dirty and could have done with a good clean.
